Weighing up a wildcard to restructure my team and move onto Saka / Palmer.

    1FT

    Henderson
    Gvardiol Gabriel Robinson
    Rogers Mbuemo Salah Johnson
    Haaland Raul Solanke

    Fabs Myko Winks Faes

    A. WC
    B. Hold off, probably take a hit for Palmer

In all honesty, you could hold off playing your WC. Take the hit for Palmer. WC's are meant for multiple changes.

      A for me.
Having both Haaland and Salah gives you an unbalanced team.

There's a fair bit I'd change in that team.

I would go for the hit for Palmer over the WC if those are the choices.

I disagree with the responses about the side being so unbalanced that it warrants a WC. It's not in fantastic shape but it's not a million miles off.

It's also not explicitly down to the Haaland & Salah combo as I can fully prove myself. Most successful Teams have three Premiums.

I'd be looking at downgrading Solanke & Gvardiol, with Johnson being the upgrade to Palmer.

From next week, you may gradually look at getting rid of Raul/Robinson and from then onwards, a Keeper.

I don't know what you have in the Bank but Solanke > J Pedro would go some way to start with.

I like the rest though. I'm also considering one of Mbuemo/Wissa, and Pedro in the forward line, and you might want at least one arsenal defender

Calafiori when he’s back (Timber on the right). Before then, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly or Zinchenko. Zinchenko seems the least favoured but maybe that changes with the good fixture run. But then, Caliafiori hopefully ain’t far from a return

Picking the 3 right forwards will be key the coming weeks.

    - Cunha pretty set and forget for me
    - Brighton attacker (only problem which one)

    - Isak / Jackson or Havertz
Slight preference for Isak, but honestly think all are good options.

Maybe they all score the same and everybody is happy (or miserable)!

Becker has kept four CSs and Kelleher two and Liverpool's fixtures are quite good for the foreseeable future. City they play at Anfield and City are a mess at the moment and Newcastle are hardly in the form of their lives. The next tough game after those is City again away (GW26) and Spurs in London (GW17). Couple of questions:
    1) Do we have any updates on Alisson and when he is expected back? Last I heard was "after the international break".
    2) Liverpool defensive double up with a Liverpool defender and a Liverpool GK make sense?

    1. The Iceman
      • 3 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

      1) Alisson is back doing gym work. I don't think he'll make Southampton and after the break games come thick and fast, so I think Kelleher is good for another 3 to 4 games IMO.
      2) Possibly - though there are some good cheap options emerging as well now.

      1. The Big Fella
        • 9 Years
        1 year, 3 months ago

Which cheap options? Sanchez is one and Brighton maybe but the rest have tough fixtures, unknown how they will set up (United) or just can't keep cleansheets.

Newcaslte, Man U, Brighton, loads of cheap options in defence. In addition to Ait, who everyone has already.

Not sure when he's due back, but I may be looking at him as an alternative to bringing in Raya when I get a chance to ship Flekken.

I have Raya now but I am 0.1 off doing Lavia to Palmer so I am thinking of shipping Raya to Becker/Kelleher and then Lavia to Palmer for this GW (2FTs)

      I disagree

I think just Southampton and Everton, both away are easier fixtures...

      Until boxing day.
