I hope so. Paid extra for Dalot to have certainty he will play as wingback. An early sub last week, followed by Maz on wingback and Dalot at CB would be harsh

Same. Stuck with Haaland over Salah. Brutal. Haaland misses huge chances, Salah gets dodgy goals week after week, and soft pens. 100 points behind in ML. Season done, and another weekend ruined because of FPL.

I consistently argued pre season that Salah should be the most owned player in the game, I was argued with and told:

    1. Haaland would be a perma captain
    2. Salah was over the hill
    3. He’s a rotation risk with Chiesa coming in
    4. Diaz / Jota will keep pace with him
    5. You can’t own both Salah and Haaland

This is a trend for 2-3 seasons now to suggest Salah isn’t worth it in fpl, why on earth is this?! Very strong case that he is the best ever fpl player!

what would get me to stop is if i stopped watching/enjoying watching matches. like i guess most here love football to some degree and letting fpl diminish that is where i would draw the line

of course if bad weeks play on your mind outside of football might be fair to just spend abit less time on gw to gw decisions, so you dont feel so invested.

Stuck with Haaland all these weeks including gw12, ignoring Salah because Haaland with the underlying stats looked like the superior option.

The swing has been insane. Infact, insane is an understatement.

Sitting at 5million OR with being 95 points away from 1m rank itself.

Should I give up and get Salah in gw13 against City or get Saka now and Salah in gw14?

Also, is there any way back for me? Or should I just give up?

    Never been this devastated.

I think they should have bumped up the reward points to 7 or 8 for a pen save. I'm fine with the bps not auto going to the keeps for it
A GK scoring a goal should also have gone up to 20.

8 points is too much and midweek games could impact your 15. Salah, Pedro enough with a midweek GW after next.

    Afternoon everyone.

Fantasy football has been one of the biggest occupations and enjoyments in my life for much of the last 12 years. But the disasterous season I’m having this year means I’ve a draw a line in the sand for good. I’m not an analytics guy - the eye test and fixture ticker is what I’ve based my approach to the game for years and brought me a lot of success in mini-leagues over the years. But can you tell me where I start if I’m to move to analytics please? Are there books out there that I should read? Beyond the 6 gameweek player projections - where else should I access the data I need to base decisions on if I’m to fully embrace analytics? Any help would be appreciated. Thank-you all in advance for your guidance and inspiration.

Plenty of cheap in form forwards
Go for at least Salah, Palmer & Sako in midfield & possibly Bruno
Rotating keepers (not home away but cover each others difficult fixtures)
Don't spend too much in defence
      Check fixtures & form
      Play 343 don't need analytics
      No hits

If you're doing eye test are you watching 90 mins of every game or just highlights? Because highlights, especially in the last 5 years, have become skewed and so don't give you enough context. Also, if you're watching highlights, are you watching European games and cup games as well? Because those can also point to tactical things to take note of.
