        I was on Foden all week until last night. It’s seemingly one of Foden or KDB. I wouldn’t like to bet against Kev starting.

        Also realised Foden is only potentially a good option if he plays until GW23, and then it’s a certain transfer out. With DGW, BGW and AM chip, transfers are valuable. Bruno and set and forget is the play, as boring as it sounds. Will Foden better Bruno considerably over that period?

      I brought in Maddison and Diaz for Saka and Dibling. Surprised Maddison isn't getting discussed more.

      Having said that, I had exact funds and with hindsight, maybe Martinelli was the better option.

      It’s not a bad move for the next few games. Even if he gets a cameo, he will probably score.

      The issue is he shouldn’t be your 3rd LFC spot if you haven’t got many transfers before the DGW. You want to nail the 3 best picks there without having to remove a different LFC player.

      He will still fall in price. Once he is unflagged his price is locked though. But expect at least 2 or 3 more price falls before he is locked, especially with game weeks coming thick and fast.

      If you have him, keep him at this stage. I still haven’t been able to sell Lewis, and he probably just becomes a hopeful 3rd or 4th defender rotation for me now.

      You’re basically buying him for one game before Arsenals fixtures turn.

      For a hit, you’d need him to score 2 just to cover the cost of bringing him and then removing him.
