        You need to be very careful in judging the risk vs reward with this chip.
        May turn out that a in form top team is better than trying to be smart\lucky with an underdog.

        I think I'm just going to go for Slot and get the baseline points.

        What if you save until GW30+ expecting Amorim to be 5 places behind Bournemouth/Fulham/Brentford and then by the time it gets to it, they're not any more.

        You'll want to pick teams in form. If they're in form, they're probably not as low down the table as they currently are.

    Afternoon all,

    Do you prefer:
    a) KDB > Fernandes
    b) Roll the transfer.

    Current team:

    Henderson
    TAA / Gabriel / Cucurella
    Salah / Palmer / Amad / Fernandes
    Isak / Pedro / Jackson

    Fabianski / Rogers / Robinson / Davis

    2FTs, 0.1 ITB

    Sels
    Alexander-Arnold | Gabriel | Virgil

      Isolated I would say Mateta. But you own Sarr, Palace not good enough for a double up imo. Watkins was shocking against Leicester and Duran will come back. Gakpo always a minutes risk, but in good form. Gakpo or Raúl for me.

        Yeah right wing. Would be Malen or Bailey. Won't play as a '10', more likely to play as striker if he plays central.

          He'll be cup tied for europe this season too I'd assume? Might be wrong. They've had a lot of issues in the wings Ramsey, Bailey, McGinn can never stay fit. Rogers is fine for that reason alone, seems to be a fitness monster

    For the Assistant Manager chip,
    1. Do we need the money in the bank to buy them initially?
    2. If we don’t need them initially and we purchase those 1.5 ones first week and get the 0.5 million second week using FT, can we use the 1.0 in change to buy other players?
    3. From question 2, if we don’t get the price difference to upgrade other players but we decide to buy 1.0 manager in the third week, do we need to have that 0.5 in the bank?

    Thanks

    Benching headaches aplenty. Which two would you bench out of:

    A) Hall
    B) Robinson
    C) Gabriel (Raya playing in goal)
    D) Munoz
    E) TAA (Wood comes on if Pedro injured)

    Vaguely settled on benching Robinson, but currently have TAA on the bench but it just feels wrong!

        Football fans are fickle when it comes to the law. Example being Luke McCormick. Most people probably don't know him. He killed two kids in a drink driving incident. Got sacked from Plymouth Argyle. Did his time, got back into the game. Returned to Argyle and was made captain at one stage. Considered a bit of a legend by most Argyle fans. I could never look beyond that crime even with it being a spent one.

          Ivan Toney situation was the one that really bugged me. Normally I just ignore this stuff, but he played the victim card and didn't accept personal responsibility and received a heroes welcome back. Ugh!

          I remember that - now imagine he didn't go to prison, and you had Plymouth fans calling the victims every name under the sun while the manager is calling him a "special character" and pretending he's injured every time he gets questioned.

    To put the assistant manager in a bit of perspective, based on current standings and Pool's first half of the season results:

    Slot (1.5M) for DGW 24 - 25 - 26. Total 38 points
    Bournemouth (A) 0-3 --> 11 points
    Everton (prediction) (A) 0-1 --> 9 points
    Wolves (H) 2-1 --> 8 points
    Man City (A) 0-2 --> 10 points

    Wolves' Vitor Pereira (0.8M) for GW 36 - 37 - 38. Results needed to match 38 points
    Brighton (H) 2-1 --> 18 points
    Crystal Palace (A) 3-2 --> 2 points
    Brentford (H) 2-1 --> 18 points.

    Obviously depends on what results are realistic and Pool might struggle at the Etihad. But, the best team in the league in a DGW might be the safest and best choice, as a low ranked team need two wins with table bonus to match it.

        I would expect Martinelli LW, Sterling RW could be an option for Arteta. Interesting to see it was Sterling over Trossard to replace Jesus
