Anyone going on Arne Slot from GW24 to FW26?

I'm between that or bring TAA. I currently own Alisson and Salah. I'm wondering if owning Slot really worth it, as it will prevent to have TAA... Any thoughts ?

Chasing a huge lead and ready to go full differential. Willing to take big risks and accept my rank tanking.

Palmer out is probably my first move. Price no object, who are some real differential MFs?

    Help needed. 2fts

    A: Rogers (Cunha), Save 2FTs
    B: Cunha (Rogers), Save 2FTs
C: Wood (Rogers), use 1FT Cunha to Wood

A for me. With Wood’s fixtures turning more difficult in the coming weeks and Cunha’s fixtures turning more favorable, feels like a transfer you might be looking to reverse in GW 26 anyway, especially if Rogers as would be your 7th attacker in GW 23-25 with Villa’s next 3 of WHU, wol, IPS

Could you go Wood and Aina to give yourself the opportunity to hit on an return for Wood and either a clean sheet or assist for Aina? The Wood and Huijsen hedge means you’re guaranteed to blank with one of them unless you fancy a set piece goal from Huijsen.

            1. Honker Muddlefoot
              • 6 Years

Or if you favor Huijsen’s CS odds at least a fair bit more than Aina’s, I might just double down and start Sarr against a leaky Brentford over Wood to give myself the chance at hitting on both the clean and the attacking return

Welbeck is back so Brighton usually play with him and Pedro is on penalties. You could end up getting negative points for pickford and none for Rogers so best to hedge with Pedro and pickford either way you'll get point there either from pedro or save points from pickford.

    Thoughts from the community:

At the start of the season I thought rolling up to 5 transfers was a smart move as it opens up divergence. I thought it could be a trap valuing transfers. However I’ve been rolling a decent team lately and have gone from 70k to 500k.

So I looked at all the weeks I rolled, 6 in total (excluding WC) and I got reds in 5.

All sorts of chaos at the business end with chips etc but have any of you looked at this?

    1. Haa-lala-land
      • 5 Years
      10 months, 15 days ago

The 5 free transfers was only brought in to entice players back that had stopped playing for a couple of months and who had wanted to play again. Here you go, welcome back, here's a mini wildcard kind of thing.
I don't think saving 4 or 5 is a good strategy, you are simply missing too many opportunities week to week for points gains. I looked into it a few years ago, whether it's better to roll to two frees, or use one each time. The answer was use one each time, so rolling to 5 probably just compounds the error.

      1. shorey143
        • 4 Years

Exactly my thoughts and experience. I planned to always make transfers to improve my team and was in a really good rank. Then thought about not FH 29 and so only transferring players if it made a lot of sense and dropped loads. Just used my 3 freebies and wil go back to transferring weekly with an eye on what I want to do in the future weeks

I did notice many of the FT hoarders missed out on weekly opportunities, but think now is the time to start patient saving of FTs for AM and chip multi-transfers.

Everyone is thinking Kluivert off the back of a hattrick will score however Forrest back line is tight and milenkovic can score against bournmouth from headers. Robinson may get crosses in but Raul and munoz are not clinical enough even against a terrible man u defence. Amad and Bruno can score taking away his clean sheet.

A - Play Mbeumo, Jackson on the bench and Save the FT
B - Sell Jackson to Gakpo, play Gakpo and bench Mbeumo

    Thank you for your help

      B seems reasonable.

Would you rather have Foden or Son? Foden in form and even with those fixtures. Son has minutes and pens, vocal point in Spurs attack

Foden tbh, looks like he has hit form, bit poor fixtures up coming. I'd get Mbeumo over both of them.

My current mid are Mbeumo, Palmer, Salah, Gordon and either Foden/Son

    Sanchez
    Aina Lewis Hall
    Rogers Gordon Salah Palmer
    Havertz Wood Isaak

    Fabi Elanga Johnson Harwood-B

Am I G2G? Any issues with Elanga benched over Rogers? Thanks.

Villa have these easier game Forest & Bournemouth both attack & very good defences.

Villa have easier games coming up but Elanga has been more consistent in the last 5 games than Rogers. Malen has been signed as well.
Sanchez at City not a good move. Play Fabianski instead. Consider replacing Sanchez with Henderson or pope etc
Get rid of Havertz better to have Gabriel
