Could be legendary or disastrous. But I wouldn't be at 3.2M if I made a whole lot of good decisions this season, so here we go!

    Pickford*
    Aina | Hall | Greaves
    Salah | Palmer | Murphy | Rogers
    Gakpo | Ndiaye (c) | Isak
    Moyes

    Verbruggen, Munoz, Castagne, Dibling

My fear is that we're chasing the 19 points from his first week. But if he manages to win the derby and keep Salah quiet, I am going to have a stiff drink myself.

Ok I’ve thought about this more, and I don’t really get the benefit of switching plans from TC to AM in DGW24 based on new info for DGW25. You’d already assessed TC as the better play for DGW24. Nothing has actually changed this week for AM, and with Moyes, you lock in a transfer next week as well.

AM now gives you 5 games rather than 4

Yeah but the extra game from previous info is next week. So if you weren’t doing 4 games already, just do it next week

Pool likely to double in 25 , so 5 games instead of 4 over 3 gws.

You're assuming people have Moyes AM. If you have Slot, you potentially have double double AM, with no additional transfer.

Disagree. Quite a lot has changed.

The AM this week now gives 5 instead of 4 fixtures. That is really relevant.

Or you could have 3 pool players playing 5 games in 3 GWs.

There HAS to be rotation there. Literally no way that any of the three you pick (bar maybe Alisson) won't get rested at least once.

            • 7 Years

Not necessarily. There's a big gap between the games in gw24, and the B team will get the Plymouth game most likely.

There's also no CL for Liverpool until March so I don't see why he'd need to rest his first choice 11 in the league.

Have alisson. Vvd. Salah TC and 0.3 and one FT

    Also two Everton

    A. Stick to salah tc
    B. Delay salah tc to gw25
    C. Sell alisson to Areola and AM slot. He is only keeper I could afford to free up funds. Also have Fab
    D. Moyes AM and switch to someone else AM next week (not sure any great choices if Silva doesn’t double)

    1. Yes Ndidi
      • 6 Years
      1 year, 1 month ago

      A is sensible.
      B is risky
C could work, but I value the transfer.
D Does Moyes really outscore an extra Salah this week?

I'm in a similar boat with Alisson Gakpo & Mo, 1FT, 0.1 ITB, and thinking for what I can realistically afford, TC Mo in 24 outscores Moyes and runs Slot pretty close, then if 'Pool do double in 25, so will Villa, with 2 home games and table bonus available, and I'll AM Emery instead.

You are banking on Everton getting a result against Liverpool for Moyes to be worth it. Don’t see why you wouldn’t go slot when you need to waste a transfer (which might translate to a hit in the long run)

            A- Gakpo to ndiaye/wissa (-4) + slot AM in 24, Gordon & ndiaye/wissa to Kluivert& Watkins (-4)
            B- No hits in 24,
In GW25, Moyes to emery, Gordon & Gakpo to kluivert & Watkins (-8)

Nah. Ev shouldn't get anything against LFC, and don't get any bonus Vs Leicester. May as well go with the better team that probably will have 2 doubles, for no extra transfer.

    For context I currently have;
    Salah, Gakpo, Trent, Pickford, Rogers

    [Option 1]
    GW24: Moyes AM.
    GW25: Moyes/Isak > Emery/Watkins (-4)

    [Option 2]
    GW24: Slot AM & Gakpo > Wissa (-4)
    GW25: Isak > Watkins

    [Option 3]
    GW24: Slot AM & TAA > Everton DEF (-4)
    GW25: Isak > Watkins

    [Option 4]
    GW24: Salah TC
    GW25: Isak > Watkins

In opotion 1/3/4 I'm holding Gakpo till GW 28, where I'll move him out for Cunha etc.

Option 1/2/3, I take 1 hit either way - just it's either this week (if going Slot), or next week (if going Moyes & switching after).

I would focus on the AM chip itself.

What do you think is more likely? Moyes wins vs Leicester and gets a result vs Pool or Pool winning both games? If it's the former, you should definitely AM Moyes since you'd also benefit from your 3rd Liverpool player.

But if it's the latter, then I'd consider getting Slot.

If we beat Liverpool it’ll only be 1-0 . You won’t benefit from 3 Liverpool players in that scenario.

Obviously, Liverpool winning both games is most likely, but it comes down to risk vs reward; is there a decent chance Everton get a draw vs LIV given there record at home in these derby fixtures and/or Liverpool dropping points away to BOU given there form/home defensive record...

Then factor in you're hitting out a pool player who could easily return well for a subpar player (if you already have Wissa)

I think Slots’ points can be covered by triple pool… and TC to keep for later on, and play it based on ML situation…
