Will you sub out Foden for T.Hernandez in UCL fantasy?

Yeah, I would. I'm subbing him out for Zappacosta or Guerreiro. Hernandez already in.

I am not 100 % sure tbh..... Don't think Milan is keeping a CS....will have to rely on Theo getting an attacking return or good enough ball recoveries to overtake Foden.....4 points is not much so worth taking a risk I guess

It's the 4 points really. Hernandez could get motm with one return(CS, A or G). He also has 10 points from balls recovered in 8 games.

not sure how many points foden got but anything 4 and under I would probably take out

"Bournemouth win a lot of penalties for Kluivert"

Bournemouth have been awarded 8 penalties in all competitions this season.

Evanilson has won 4/6 Kluivert pens this season.

2/8 pens have been awarded after Evanilson's injury

    Currently

    Fab (Verbruggen)
    Konate-Robinson-Digne (Hall, Myko)
    Salah-Palmer-Rogers-Kluivert-Mbeumo
    Mateta-Isak (Wood)

    1.3itb 2FT

Think I’m happy to roll the FTs but is my lineup right? Any thoughts really appreciated.

Fair- I did think that might be the case. Less concerned about that just because Verbruggen will come in. It’s more about which of the 8 attackers to bench- I’m usually fairly convinced (rightly or wrongly) but not this time!

This. Mbeumo on my bench with Isak Gapko Mateta.

Although Mateta v Mbumbo is close as Palace don't score many at home. But Everton have only 3 days and Palace had 5 with Sarr and Eze and Wharton, who imo is as good in CM as what Olise is as a no.10 (not so great for fantasy) getting good minutes

Will free hit in 29 so with that in mind which do you prefer next week, assuming Watkins is fit:

    A) Moyes & Cucurella > Emery & Munoz
    B) moyes & Isak > Emery & Watkins
    C) Moyes & Davis > Emery & 4.1 defender

If I have these, it's because I'm going to use the AM chip. If I don't use that, I just bench Sarr instead of selling for Outtara for funds, and roll FT.

I don't yet have a definitive plan for 29 but planning to ditch Sarr anyway since he is useless pick. That in mind would you get:

    A) Rogers
    B) Kluivert (or other BOU)

    Pickford
    TAA Timber Hall Colwill Greaces
    Salah Palmer Mbeumo Amad Sarr
    Isak Wissa Gakpo

      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

I sold Sarr but like Eze has been playing through a tight hamstring for weeks now.

I go Kluivert but Rogers did look good when he gets a rest. But Villa don't play well with 2 games in a week

So B. Who are you benching?

  15. Crunchie
    • Fantasy Football Scout Member
    • 7 Years
    1 year, 14 days ago

    Raya Fabs
    Trent Munoz Hall (Myko Castange)
    Kluivert Salah Palmer Rogers (Mbeumo)
    Mateta Isak Gapko

It will be Hall to Kerkez with 0.1 ITB.

Or Trent if out for Wolves

Can FH or get a Haaland team out 29 with 5 ( a hit,) Transfers. Can decide as late as GW 29 bar injuries or FH. Cunha may come in for Gapko incase there is rotation, but less likely with a blank.( I think)

Depends on how fixtures fall BUT. I can get a 10 doublers if Bournemouth and City doubled in 33, 11if I didn't want Salah away to Leicester for Foden

Palace fixtures GW31 to 35 (if they don't blank 34, are

BHA mci BOU new ars NOT ha.ha

Play AM could be epic or a huge flop but has to be played in 33. If Arsenal moves to 36, that is a good week

I might be Picking a Glasner special on the menu

I would have BB and WC left if I FH in 29 or BB FH if I WC 31, but

Yes just a discussion and a possibility of high risk high reward on a AM chip and is FH 29 worth it, or not.

Kind of thinking out aloud but also where can you really see woah potential on AM for those who haven't played it.

When to play the chips, outside of the box

Great option. I might have considered it myself but I'm just short of the 1.1m I need.

I think people are overlooking SGW opportunities as far as AM is concerned. 3 plum fixtures with the potential for lots of goals and CS bonus feels like a good option rather than risking table bonus or a DGW with potentially difficult fixtures either side of the double.

I'm looking at gw27-29, targeting CHE v SOU, LIV v SOU & IPS v NFO.

          • 7 Years

Yes. Depending on your plans for 29 it might be easier to go down the single manager route to save FTs, but I already have close to a full team for the blank so shouldn't be an issue (touch wood).

      2. Sir Michael Taker
        • 11 Years

The upside isn't really there in single GWs imo. Its only 1 point for a goal scored, 2 for a CS so very small gains even if its a 5-0 win in all 3 fixtures you're looking at 39 points total and that's probably an unlikely best case scenario.

        1. Conners
          • 7 Years
          1 year, 14 days ago

The upside for me is the likely outcome of 3 good wins and points in the bag.

Table bonus feels like a gamble and the later doubles might not yield the opportunities people are hoping for depending on the outcome of the cup games.

Fixtures in GW37 don't look great for AM either.

If you could get this for free for GW29 would you use FH ? Will WC 30/31

    Areloa
Gabreil, Huijsen, Aina, up to 4.4
    Palmer, Foden, Mbeumo, Kluivert
    Wood, Cunha

    HENDERSON, Greaves, SALAH, ISAK

With FH i'd probably play 3-4-3 with Haaland, Gvardiol, and Pickford in for Areloa, Aina, & 4.4D

100% save FH. (Don't know why you'd want Gvardiol over Aina either).

I’m considering holding for the later weeks, used BB so can pump all cash into playing 11 & decent sub

Might play 10 in 29, need to keep all 3 pool plus Isak.. Look to move Gordon to Trossard or Foden..

Would you use FT to get past 29 with team below?

AM in play on Moyes & considering Emery for 25

    FH, WC & TC left.

    Raya,
    Trent, Munoz, Robinson
Kluivert, Mbeumo, Palmer, Salah C, Gordon,
    Isak, Gakpo,

    Fabs, Ndiaye, Myko, Hall

    1.4

So the 7 below and 4 FTs would give you an 11. I assume you have TV tied up in Salah & Isak so would be benching them so won't be able to afford Haaland (c) as long as you are OK with that I think you are fine.

      Raya,
      Robinson, Myko
      Kluivert, Mbeumo, Palmer
      Ndiaye

Yep, but played BB so don’t need a full 15.

So many cheap FWD’s Cunha, Wood, Wissa, Mateta, Isak easily cover Haaland.

    Not considering FH29. Dead-ending in 32.
2 transfers over the next 5 weeks will get me to 11 BGW29 players, bringing in replacements that also have a good schedule upto GW32.
That will give me 4 FT in GW30 to manage GW30-31-32.

    please help:

    Raya
    Milenkovic Gabriel Hall
    Salah Palmer Diaz Mbeumo Rogers
    Isak Wood (or Raul)

A - lose 4 points and go with Watkins and Gakpo (instead of Isak and Wood)
B - sell Hall and get Kerkez
    C - do nothing
D - sell Isak and play Watkins
E - sell Isak and play Gakpo

(extra: still have TC to play... should I use it on Salah?)

    thanks everyone 🙂

TC25 on Salah is the easiest decision ever

      Tonight passing without anything untoward

Selling Wood or Isak seems a bit sideways for -4 especially. You will probably want them back after the double.

For -4 I would do Diaz and Raul for Gakpo and Bournemouth mid

I wonder if that Havertz news makes Potter the 26 punt where some were thinking about Arteta as a banker option. West Ham can be a bit of a bogey team for Arsenal anyway and I've seen some looking at the upside of a cheap Nwaneri or Trossard whereas I'd be viewing it as the opposite, this is a team struggling for goals who will have to play somebody out of position up top. I'll be giving Arsenal's attack a swerve even against leaky Leicester.

I'm actually thinking about Ruud this week for that reason, the Brentford and WH. But maybe that's a step too far.

It’s tempting but WHU crap at defending set plays. Would still expect Arsenal win...just

    Sels

    Milenkovic - TAA* - Robinson

    Palmer - Salah – Mbeumo – Rogers

    Isak – Gakpo – Wood

    Fab – Hall - BRUNO – Dunk

I really want to sell Bruno for a Bournemouth Mid but who to bench?
