With the next Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline almost here, we’re hearing from our panel of guest writers.
Here, three-time top 500 finisher FPL General – sitting at 37k in the world this season – talks us through Gameweek 24, plus his plans for Double Gameweek 25 and beyond.

Double Gameweek 24 Review

What felt like the longest Gameweek in history is finally over! Waiting for the Everton v Liverpool fixture was worse than any international break.
The Troops managed a green arrow from 43k to 37k, thanks to a total of 130 points, helped massively by Chris Wood’s (£7.1m) hat trick in the 7-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
When Double Gameweek fixture news broke on the Friday before the deadline, I decided to sacrifice Alisson Becker (£5.5m) to select Arne Slot (£1.5m) as my Assistant Manager.
Jordan Pickford (£5.1m) replaced him but a second free transfer was also required to create funds for the Liverpool manager. This resulted in Lewis Hall (£5.1m) making way for Ezri Konsa (£4.4m). It’s therefore frustrating that Konsa has since picked up an injury ahead of Aston Villa’s double.
