Kerkez starting at CB and Dango at LB would be suboptimal as an owner.
A lineup leak would be very welcome tomorrow.

Good point RE: Dango LB possibility.

Never seem to see Bournemouth leaks however, so don't have much hope about a leak.

I'm into the last 4096 of the Overall Cup. Prizes are for 1st & 2nd (whichever two remain on GW38 - I am 500k overall)

I have used my Assistant Manager chip on Arne Slot from GW24-26, however still have my January Wildcard, Bench Boost, Triple Captain and Free Hit.

I very happily welcome any strategies on when best to play these chips, from in my opinion, the greatest FPL community.

The draw is out, and My GW27 opponent has one game left of his Unai Emery Assistant Manager, meaning he can play NO other chips. I have 1FT. I can see my opponent made 3 transfers last GW, leading me to believe he would only have 1FT for this GW.

    MY TEAM:
    Raya
    Gabriel, Cucurella, Robinson, Gusto (Kerkez)
    Palmer, Mbeumo, Rogers, Salah (Amad)
    Isak, Wood (Welbeck)

    OPPONENTS TEAM:
    Raya,
    TAA, Aina, Robinson (Milenkovic, Mykolenko)
    Kluivert, Mbeumo, Rogers, Salah (Mitoma)
    Cunha, Isak, Wood

I am fully aware I have several problems. Rogers, Welbeck, Amad (who has been end of my bench since his injury) , 2x Chelsea defence (however this GW it falls luckily they are H to SOU).

Apologies for the long post and much appreciation for any comments.

He may not have Emery has his assistant manager this week.

I think you are in good shape, I would start Mitoma over Rogers either way though.

I would also be very worried about not owning Palmer against Southampton

    5FT & 0.7m ITB

    Sels
    TAA* - Gabriel - Kerkez
    Salah* - Palmer - Mbuemo - Semenyo
    Isak* - Cunha - Wood

    Fab - Konsa* - Keane - Winks

Plan is to use FT's to field a team for BGW 29 and them have a strong enough 15 players for a BB in the DGW. I still have AssMan so will need to use that in the next couple weeks or wait til after the DGW. Plan is:

    Today: Fab > Sa
    GW28: Konsa > Mykolenko
    GW29: TAA + Keane > Gvardiol + RAN

This gives 11 players in a 5-3-2 and will provide a host of benching issues until the DGW

    Thoughts?

Agreed. Wood is a season-long keeper, IMO.

I would, however, consider doing Wissa -> Cunha for a free transfer. I'm heavily considering it myself.

It surely requires transfers to burn, but it’s very possible Cunha outscores Wood in the next three. Wolves play saints in 29. It’s a bit too much tinkering for me but at this stage of the season, it could generate extra points, yes, over a three game stretch

I have one free transfer and which swap do you think is better.

    A) Konsa out AWB in

    B) Rogers out Bowen in and I put Wood on the bench
or roll and have 3 FT for round 29.

    Lineup Alisson-Valdimardsson-Munoz-Gabriel-Robinson-Konsa-Huijsen-Salah-Palmer-Mbeumo-Dango-Rogers-Wood-Cunha-Isak.

    1. rangers9162
      • 1 Year

I wouldn't do B, despite liking the Bowen transfer a lot. Arsenal are looking very "off" as a team / it wouldn't surprise anyone to see Wood score. I'd probably roll but Konsa -> AWB looks very viable, especially as it gives you an extra player for "blank" GW29

It wouldn't be my typical move but I want to double down on Chelsea with SOU and LEI in the next two.

    Who would you bring in:
    A) Henderson (blank in 29) for Jorgensen
    B) Rogers to Enzo
    C) Rogers to Neto

Currently on C as a punt but open to opinions

If you are dead-set on getting a Chelsea player - probably C for me.

Although it's not guaranteed he gets two starts - he was better up top than Nkunku has been.

It's just a bit weird as we don't have a proper RW in that scenario.

      1. Pumpkinhead
        • 11 Years

Yes the RW position is where I was originally thinking he would 'settle' but it's definitely a risk to go with him.

Not willing to take a hit this week so players like Mbeumo and Bowen are out of the running so thought this could be a clever alternative considering the fixtures.

4.2 + has a game in 29. I'm planning on WC gw 30 so With Southampton, LEI, and a 29 fixture I thought it might be a decent move but you're right that they can't be trusted.

I do like Bowen and even though Chelsea and Neto will probably do well next two weeks it’s an guaranteed transfer for 29 which may be an issue if you have a lot of blanking players right now

Are any Diaz owners holding or are you switching? I had him penciled to go after Southampton at home in 28, but with a question mark over minutes, Bowen/Neto look appealing. Cunha is my priority transfer this week, so I'm leaning away from a hit, but wondering what the consensus is. Diaz > Bowen for a hit?

I haven't owned Wood all season just hasn't worked out with my transfers. He's been great and judging by him momentum I can see him scoring against anyone. Forrest have a really quality team and with MGW and their wingers Wood seems to get enough chances to sustain.

True, but you could argue West Ham have been scoring fewer goals due to Bowen's absence. Now he's back and scoring in consecutive weeks, Leicester at home (although only one game) is hard to pass up. I have Mbuemo and not Bowen... yet.

The entourage of seven #ManCity players have already been informed by the club to find an exit in the first days of the summer transfer market: Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan, Ederson.

I'd be absolutely stunned if Chelsea aren't in for half of them in the summer - Grealish, Ederson and Stones at the very least.

Thinking of maybe using AM on Howe in 31 onwards so using FT for 29. Which option for this GW? Got 4 FT currently.

    A) TAA & Rogers > Hujsen & Bowen
    B) TAA, Rogers & Gakpo > Hujsen, Bowen & Marmoush
    C) TAA, Rogers & Gakpo > Hujsen, Bowen & Cunha
