With the next Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline almost upon us, we’re hearing from our panel of guest writers. Here, three-time top 500 finisher FPL General talks through his Gameweek 35 team.

Gameweek 34 Review

The Free Hit was solid, if not spectacular. I could’ve done without the Jose Sa (£4.4m) penalty save and Ryan Sessegnon (£4.2m) scoring a late winner, but a green arrow is a green arrow! 

The troops went from 28k to 25k. I was having a look back on the season earlier today and I’ve barely moved in rank over the past few months. I was 25k in Gameweek 16, 24k in Gameweek 26, and now we’re back in the same spot.

A top 50k finish and I’m satisfied with the campaign, but I’d like to make a little push towards the top 10k for these final four Gameweeks.

I was quite happy to learn that there won’t be any more blanks or doubles for the rest of the season. It suits me having already used all the chips. As an old-fashioned, traditional FPL manager, four regular Gameweeks is right up my street.

          It's a risk but may as well chase the upside with this chip imo. I mean even a draw would give you not far off the same as you would get from a city win. Unless they go mental of course. A win gets you 20 odd points. Forest looked terrible the other night and are generally worse away. Can always move it next week or just keep it on them Vs a useless tired spurs. Wolves could even be a tb option next week if Brighton beat or draw with Newcastle and wolves lose to city

    Any thoughts on Watkins? I’m thinking of selling Marmoush for him as a holder for rest of the season, to reduce my City players to 2 (Rodri + Dias) so I can get Pep as Assistant manager. Any thoughts pls? (I’m also doing Saka to Mbuemo)

      On WC too. Have many of the same players but I have Isak instead of Wissa. I am playing Rogers (over Murphy but I'm still not set on keeping Murphy).

      Personally I'm not so high on Forest and wouldn't have 3 of them.

    I’m not seeing that much of an advantage for Brentford this GW. They did play on Thursday, as well. I must be in the minority. I understand Man Utds plan to rotate/focus on Europe
