The deadline for Women’s Euro 2025 Fantasy Matchday 4 is approaching, so don’t miss it.

Fantasy managers get unlimited transfers to improve their sides ahead of today’s 20:00 BST deadline, so here are the teams and players to consider.

MATCHDAY 4 WIN ODDS

TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO TARGET

SPAIN

Best midfielders for UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Fantasy 6

The current world champions are strong tournament favourites for a reason, finding themselves as the overwhelming pick to beat hosts Switzerland. Helping this is a record of winning all three group games, scoring 14 goals along the way.

Fantasy managers can now pick five players per country, rather than three. Therefore, expect ownerships to reach dizzying heights.

The phenomenal midfielder Alexia Putellas is already in 78% of squads. In an attempt to make up for lost time after missing the previous Euros, she’s delivered three goals and four assists – ridiculous numbers.

Fellow double Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati seems to have recovered from viral meningitis, having lasted all 90 minutes in Matchday 3.

Furthermore, managers can now also explore Mariona Caldentey, plus four-goal forward Esther Gonzalez. She has bagged at least one attacking return in every encounter so far.

Between the sticks, Adriana Nanclares has played every match over Catalina Coll.

ENGLAND

Best defenders for UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Fantasy 5

Reigning European champions England have it slightly tougher, facing the only nation that collected two clean sheets throughout the group stage: Sweden.

But the Lionesses are good themselves at the back, starting from Hannah Hampton in goal. Also part of Chelsea’s unbeaten domestic treble campaign was forward-thinking full-back Lucy Bronze.

Although without any attacking returns, she produced two goals and an assist during this summer’s three pre-tournament matches and is good for ball recovery points.

In midfield, Ella Toone racked up three returns in one half against Wales and likes scoring on big occasions, though Georgia Stanway has played more minutes and may still be deemed a better pick.

Forward Alessia Russo is currently the game’s second-most owned player (63%), so opting to go without her is risky. The FWA Women’s Footballer of the Year shared the Super League’s Golden Boot and netted eight times during Arsenal’s route to Champions League glory.

Here, Russo is on one goal and three assists.

FRANCE

UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Fantasy Matchday 4 top picks

Arguably the tightest of all four quarter-finals pits France against Germany in Basel.

Out-of-position defender Sakina Karchaoui not only plays in midfield but also takes penalties, like Sunday’s stoppage time strike versus the Netherlands.

France boast several appealing forward options, such as Delphine Cascarino and Marie-Antoinette Katoto. The former bagged a brace past the Dutch, as the latter scored once and set up two others.

WORTH REMEMBERING…

UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Fantasy Matchday 3 top picks

Don’t forget that you’ll be able to see the line-ups for Norway v Italy before the Matchday 4 deadline.

Other players of interest include Germany’s Jule Brand, currently on 30 points thanks to two Group Stage goals and assists.

Signe Gaupset accomplished all this in one match against Iceland, bringing in a 20-point haul. While Norway are another side with three wins from three, bookies back Italy to eliminate them and it could prove profitable to stack up on the Azzurre defence.

They need to concentrate on the golden goose & ditch all the spin offs!

Who actually has time for all the others EFL, Euro’s etc think most like a holiday from it after FPL season.

Eliteserien fantasy is class, I enjoy that more than FPL personally, so I am glad they have at least some content.

Id actually prefer them to focus more on other formats

Every year that passes i enjoy FPL a little less and other formats more.

True, but I think a connecting line or a different colour would make it clearer still.

I've also just noticed replying to this that my "post comment" box is squashed down to fit inside your reply

Which year was it that Alan Partridge claimed he had heard from someone in FPL that it was going to launch at 4am BST to avoid overloading the servers, and many stayed up late for it?
They were very annoyed when it was revealed the next morning to have all been a hoax.

Leeds quietly having a decent transfer window. Sort out the gk and I can see a few cs this season:

Trying to get Munoz at FUL. McAtee would be ideal. Piroe and Bamford won't be enough. Nmecha could be anything.
Expect them to sort out the gk and forward line next.

The completely superfluous horizontal and second vertical scrollbars are a nice touch; makes the mundane activity of scrolling more like some kind of fun sliding puzzle.
