FPL Gameweek 3 Scout Picks: Forest triple-up

There’s not a Liverpool or Arsenal player in sight in the Scout Picks for Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

We considered the Scout Squad submissions made by Neale (Editor), Tom (Deputy Editor), Sam (General Manager) and Marc (Staff Writer) before coming up with our final team.

As ever, there are certain restrictions for our picks:

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GAMEWEEK 3 SCOUT PICKS

GOALKEEPER

Robert Sanchez (£5.0m) gets the nod between the sticks ahead of Chelsea’s home match against Fulham on Saturday. The Spaniard has conceded just once in his two matches so far (an effort from 25+ yards, to boot), and given that Marco Silva’s side haven’t really impressed from an attacking perspective this season, a home clean sheet could well be on the cards.

DEFENDERS

FPL pre-season: Sub Solanke but strong Spurs display

    Palmer > Mbeumo done.

Still have Rutter (Georginio), so who should be first on my bench?

    A) Carvalho - probably won’t start but should come on.

    B) Rodon - Newcastle with no recognised striker and good for defcon.

    Sub, sell or hold?

"Jorgen Strand Larsen is not at the Wolves team hotel this evening and is expected to miss the game against Everton tomorrow.

In today’s press conference Vitor Pereira cast doubt on Larsen’s involvement due to an achilles issue."

Really not sure on what to do here, any thoughts would be appreciated

    Team is
    Sels
    Murillo, VDV, RAN
    Salah, Wirtz, Reijnders, Palmer*, Georginio*
    Watkins, Mateta

    Dub, Anderson, Guiu, Esteve
    2FT.

    Thinking about one of these
    A. Guiu to Wood and Palmer to Kudus/Barnes
    B. A plus Georginio to Sarr

I was planning A and captaining Wood, but Ive just seen that Georginio is dropping tonight.
So do I take a hit to sell him and have a benching headache or do I take the drop ?

or Do I forget Wood and sell Palmer and Gerorginio for 2 of Kudus/Sarr/Barnes/Ndoye and no hit

    Open Controls
    1. _Greg

Just sell Rutter, you can bench Palmer, play Anderson and decide the rest later.

      Open Controls

That seems sensible, but I really was set on the idea to get Wood in and Captain him. Not sure who to give the armband to otherwise.

I do have 2 FTs so I can just sell Palmer and Rutter for free.

would you rather captain wood and take a 0.1 drop on Rutter
        or
Forget Wood, sell Rutter for Ndoye and give him the armband ?

    Not my first post now.

FFScout is doing it , so justifies my position i guess.

But time i was on the boards today this season.

Hi all. First post of the year. Unfortunately my dad passed away, but we got to see the FA Cup final together. He waited 80 years for that!

Lots going on so I rushed a FPL team together without much thought

    Sanchez ((Dub)
    Munoz Pedro Williams (Anderson Esteve)
    Palmer Saka Bruno Wirtz Gakpo
    Watkins Munoz 4.5

Not WC before ITB ;Transfer window

Thinking of a FH team this week even though defence looks OK.

    Again not much thought but.

    Sels
    Cucurella Porro Dorgu/ Livra
    Cunha Bruno Johnson Elanga
    J Pedro Wood Haaland

    Think I can do that?

Or take a -4 and sell Saka Palmer now and upgrade FWD, but perhaps Etiteke maybe better if Isak doesn't move?
