        I think I should probably wait. I don't normally think of making transfers this early but I also don't usually have a below par TV. If I do the 2nd one and Haaland or Timber get hurt tomorrow I could just pull the WC. Maybe I'll flip a coin.

          I think wait as well

          Low value TV doesn’t really matter right now unless you want Haaland and Salah, which isn’t essential IMO

          I can see scenarios where it hardly matters all season.

          Even if it does matter, Defcon gives flexibility to work around it. can potentially save 2m pretty easily by avoiding a couple of premium defenders and finding the gold at 4-5m, plus another 2m getting a 5-5.5 defensive mid over an attacking 6-7.5m option.

            Eh, I decided screw it. And I'm not even drunk. Took a -4 and got Haaland plus Timber before he went up and rid of De Cuyper before he went down. (I do have Salah also). At least I still have a WC to bail me out.

      That can still turn into something decent - 3 strikers get a goal each you probs get to a respectable 50ish

        48 is a massive score so far for this week. I've got 29 with only Watkins, Semenyo, and Reijnders left and I'm on a small green arrow. (sitting just under 2mil rank)

          Yeah been good so far but a lot can happen. I have moved from 2.8k to just inside the top 1m. Probably need ManC 1-0 win with Haaland blanking to end in the low 1-1.5m range.

          I have been fortunate that all my slightly differential defenders got attacking returns - Neco, Guehi and Chalobah - in the week where CSs disappeared

        Neale usually blasts out 2 or 3 scout notes overnight on a Saturday. I was hoping to be reading the first of them by now, not still on the scorecard. Neale's Saturday night articles are the absolute pinnacle of FPL content. Like Frank Drebin swimming in raw sewage, I love it.

          I’m keeping. He plays mostly 90 minutes, on PKs and should now be the CPL top-dog with Eze’s departure and Sarr’s injury.

    I have tough one, would you FH next week, or just get Haaland in and TC him??

    Well, no injuries this week so far at least. Although the reason for that is half my team started on the bench and have no points either! I knew this week looked bad on paper but wow!
