Spurs v Wolves team news: Porro benched

Another Saturday, another later-than-late kick-off as Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers gets underway at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

It’s easier to compare the Spurs team to last weekend’s XI rather than the much-changed side that Thomas Frank sent out in midweek.

There are two alterations from the Gameweek 5 line-up, both of them notable from a Fantasy perspective.

Pedro Porro drops to the bench, so in comes Djed Spence at right-back.

Further forward, Xavi Simons reclaims his place as Wilson Odobert makes way.

Vitor Pereira, by contrast, has had his head turned by the midweek EFL Cup win over Everton.

There’s only one change from Tuesday’s XI, as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is replaced by Joao Gomes.

LINE-UPS

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Vicario; Spence, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Bergvall, Palhinha; Simons, Kudus, Richarlison.

Subs: Kinsky, Danso, Tel, Gray, Johnson, Porro, Odobert, Sarr, Scarlett.

Wolverhampton Wanderers XI: Johnstone; Doherty, H Bueno, Krejci, S Bueno; Munetsi, Andre, J Gomes; Arias, Strand Larsen, Hwang.

Subs: Sa, Moller Wolfe, Agbadou, Arokodare, R Gomes, Toti, Bellegarde, Lopez, Tchatchoua.

    Is Salah out for Saka for a few weeks a good idea? Arsenal fixtures improve and Liverpool just are not looking great this season at the moment and Salah is 14.5m. I do think they will destroy United though and Villa are not looking that good either. Alternatively, Sarr in for Salah and upgrade Guiu to Gyokeres or even Salah to Saka and Guiu to Gyokeres, but I wonder if that is too much Arsenal then and I also wouldn't be able to afford to bring in Joao Pedro for Isidor.

      Always a risk but could pay dividends. Do I trust Saka more than Salah even with more favorable fixtures? No.

        I suppose the common sense approach is to see how Arsenal do tomorrow and if Saka even plays or not. I am not sure he has even played a full match this season yet? Having no Liverpool attack would make me nervous though, even if they are not at their best this year.

        Yeah that United fixture is the one stopping me pulling the trigger on selling him. West Ham could go either way as Arsenal's attack has not been looking super fluid the last few weeks (looked better first 2-3 matches of the season) but West Ham have looked shite too.

      Salah not worth it. Don't know why people keep holding on to him. Had he not scored some lucky last minute goals, he would be like 5% owned. He is not the main of Liverpool anymore. I like salah to sarr and guii to gykoers

        He always pops up with last minute goals though. This is why he has been one of the best players in the league. My concern is more that he has not been looking at his best in general and Liverpool do not seem to be clicking this season. Complacency maybe?

          Yes. He is not looking sharp nor are liverpool. I think isak coming in has disrupted them more as Ekitike was their best player. Wirtz has been a flop. Gakpo looked good but too much rotation now.
          The only impressive ones have been gravenberch and szobo

      I've just gone the other way with Palmer and Ekitike out for Salah and Gulu, lol.

      Liverpool will improve and Salah will start scoring, I reckon.

        Well this is the issue. Its salah plus fodder vs semenyo + j pedro for eg. And u don't need salah as c as now Haaland is going to be c by everyone anyways

      i know arsenal kinda mastered it but im not the biggest fan of just everyone crowding around the gk. like prefer seeing runners from deep going onto the ball with pace and purpose, and jumping higher. oh well

      I just had to sell Darlow, Rodon and Gudmundsson for - 8 because my mini league does not allow Leeds players. Got Roefs, Richards and Esteve. Could of gone Reinildo or Hickey perhaps but it's OK.
