Brentford v Man City team news: Doku benched

The final match of Gameweek 7 – and the last Premier League fixture before the October international break – sees Brentford and Manchester City square off at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the team which drew 2-2 at Monaco in midweek.

Matheus Nunes, Oscar Bobb and Savinho come in for John Stones, Bernardo Silva and Jeremy Doku, who drop to the bench.

Rodri is fit to start in central midfield.

As for Brentford, Kristoffer Ajer comes in for Dango Ouattara, as Keith Andrews reverts to a back five formation.

      Nice, 78-4 here. Pretty happy, but a -4 for Gyokeres was totally pointless this week.

      TBH, Gyokeres kind of performed how I expected. I didn't think West Ham would be a goal fest with Potter gone, and I thought Gyokores would get about 0.5xg, which he actually beat with 0.63.

      If he doesn't get returns in the next 4 however, Gyokores is a total PL flop.

        Yeah Gyokeres not passing the eye test at all. Give him the good fixtures like you say and hope he starts scoring but I’m not convinced.

          I'll be very worried if he blanks vs Fulham. Won't have him long at least, Gyok>Isak for GW12 is a very obvious move. Spurs aren't the hardest fixture, but Gyokeres isnt going to score against any half decent team.
