Spurs v Aston Villa team news: Richarlison + Watkins subs, no Udogie

Tottenham Hotspur face Aston Villa in the first of two Premier League matches to take place this Sunday.

Kick-off in north London is at 14:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Thomas Frank makes just one change to his Spurs side, with Djed Spence coming in for Destiny Udogie at left-back.

The Italian is absent from the matchday squad.

Further forward, Mathys Tel impressed in the Gameweek 7 win over Leeds United and keeps his place, so Richarlison is once again on the bench.

Randal Kolo Muani is also named among the substitutes.

Aston Villa bring in the fit-again Amadou Onana and Evann Guessand for the benched Lamare Bogarde and Ollie Watkins, who picked up an injury while on international duty with England.

Tyrone Mings is not fit enough to be part of the squad.

*There has been a late change to the Spurs starting XI, with Cristian Romero injured in the warm-up. He is replaced by Kevin Danso.

            What is the question here really?

            If you have 3 transfers before GW16, you get topped up to 5. Are you asking "if I use the 5 transfers in GW16, do I still have my 3 transfers from before?". From my understanding the answer to that question is no... am I mistaken here?

      Munoz has now hit DC threshold in 3/8 matches, and was close against Chelsea (8) and Liverpool (9). iirc he only would've hit the threshold 7 times the whole of last season if it was a thing. Do you think this is another Gabriel situation (someone else who is already massively exceeding DC performance compared to last year)? like time to just accept this season is different and get on board

        even without DC, Munoz is a quality pick. Perhaps the one exception where DC isn't a priority, Gabriel/Timber the others. Just so happens GnM are both getting DCs in addition

        any other Foden owners, what do you make of recent performances? think he has been unfortunate, and the way Pep is giving him 90 constantly shows abit how much he values Foden's contribution right now. did play 2 lovely passes for the goals yesterday, and set Haaland up for a big chance with another great pass. maybe he's just playing abit too deep this season to be worth it? although he does enter the box alot still. the brentford performance was disappointing tbf

        I used to play MLS fantasy back in the day and they counted 2nd assists there! We have to start a campaign for FPL as well. Could be worth just 1 point for example.
