GAMEWEEK 8 REVIEW

FPL General’s Gameweek 9 team reveal + transfer plans

Does anyone have a decent forward that I could sign on loan? What a disaster these have been in recent weeks.

Hopefully, a brace in midweek brace will see Viktor Gyokeres (£9.0m) kick on and do what we expected him to do at Arsenal. As much as I can’t wait to sell Joao Pedro (£7.5m), he’s going to survive for at least one more week, due to other priorities.

Captain Bukayo Saka (£10.0m) somehow managed a 14-pointer without any attacking returns, which was very sweet. Bruno Fernandes (£8.9m) did the business by setting up the winner over Liverpool, while Daniel Munoz (£5.6m) registered two assists. What a Fantasy gem he is.

Aside from those three, it wasn’t a great Gameweek. Fingers crossed that this one will be more productive.

With that Gabriel flag, I've found myself cancelling the planned BB (aiming for GW11 now instead) and on the verge of rolling my FT and £2.3m ITB, rather than doing Reijnders to Enzo and benching Grealish.

Right call r.e., rolling? Or is Enzo (SUN) and a spent FT (when I may want to do a double move for Saka next week) better than Grealish (TOT)/Minteh (mun)?

    Raya (Dubravka)
    Gabriel* Senesi Burn (Munoz Gudmundsson)
    Semenyo Kudus Grealish Minteh (Reijnders)
    Haaland Gyokeres Woltemade

Ta all, and best of luck!

To be honest, even if he does I actually feel like I've talked myself into GW11 looking better for my squad anyway. Something to be said for just getting BB out of the way if it looks decent enough, of course, but that plus the flag have me very much leaning towards keeping it cancelled at the moment.

Seems about right. Is it Lacroix that will come on instead of Mateta if Gabriel misses out, though? That's less ideal but obviously can't be changed if it's the situation with 3 at the back!
