Brentford v Liverpool team news: Salah starts, no Isak

A later-than-late Premier League match is still to come: it’s Brentford v Liverpool, which kicks off at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Liverpool boss Arne Slot makes three changes from Wednesday’s win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Slot is forced into two of them, as Alexander Isak and Jeremie Frimpong are injured.

Andrew Robertson also drops to the bench.

Conor Bradley, Milos Kerkez and Mohamed Salah are brought into the side after their midweek absences.

Ryan Gravenberch hasn’t recovered in time, so he misses out again.

The Brentford team news is more straightforward: they’re unchanged from Monday’s win over West Ham United.

    Brentford lost Wissa, Mbuemo and Frank, and then promoted Keith Andrew’s which raised a few eyebrows. I think everyone feared the worst but Keith has done really well.

      I had planned on doing Pedro and Vicario to Mateta and Pope with 2ft’s after this gw. I want Mbuemo now. I can’t get both Mbuemo and Mateta without a -4 and shifting to 352 selling Woltemade also in the process. Not the best week to sell Wolte.

      Who is the best 3rd forward / 8th attacker slot? Will this young Kostoulas lad for Brighton get many minutes?

            Utd finished 16th last season! Players take time to bed in and gel. Liverpool finished first and spent over 200m on Isak and Wirtz, doesn’t guarantee them 1st again and you can see the new signings haven’t clicked yet.

            BTW, Utd were way better than Arsenal gw1 and you know it 😉

        I've got to hold for 2 more weeks given the rules I play by (no transfers outside of int breaks). But I can play chips. I'm likely to play this free hit week just so I don't have to look at him in my team (the rest of it isn't even bad).
