It’s time for another team reveal as we approach Gameweek 10 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

Dan Wright – who you can find here on X – has five top 10k finishes, which means he ranks 17th in our Career Hall of Fame.

DAN WRIGHT’S GAMEWEEK 10 TEAM – PRE-TRANSFERS

Gameweek 9 was shaping up nicely… until Micky van de Ven (£4.7m) decided to produce one of the most complete defensive hauls of the season: two goals, DefCons, a clean sheet, and three bonus points.

That single performance wiped out the majority of my gains. Still, 50 points was enough to secure a small green arrow, although my overall rank remains around the 1 million mark.

    I dont own Gyokeres, never have. And I know hes got an impressive run of 2's, but to see people taking him out for a -4 is confusing

      Exactly, burnley aren't walk over at home and arsenal are more impressive from a defensive point of view. I sold for free for mateta. I think only owners can understand the frustration of owning him 🙂

    Is Semenyo v Alderete a close decision?

    Semenyo v mci (A)
    - tougher fixture
    - nailed 90 mins

    Alderete v EVE (H)
    - better fixture
    - back in full team training and likely to complete concussion protocol today, game is on Monday
    - some uncertainty he may not start

        It is a tougher fixture in comparison to Alderete v EVE...

        City ranked 3rd for xGC this season.

      Semenyo for me. He's done well in tough fixtures before. M. City will try to control the game, but Bournemouth will definitely find space. It's usually an open game between those two. Rodri not being included in the predicted lineups helps his case as well.
      Everton's attacking numbers aren't that bad and they might feel this is a game they have to win after last week's result and try a slightly more adventurous approach. They did concede two goals from set pieces against Spurs, but they were their first this season, I wouldn't read too much into it, they usually defend them reasonably well.

      I'd hold on the last, but there's no doubt I'd have more confidence in a team with the proposed changes. But I've a real skill in picking the worse over bad. I'd still prefer your changes, but optimism over skill is basically my USP.
