West Ham v Newcastle team news: Wilson starts, no Trippier

West Ham United face Newcastle United in the first of two Premier League matches to take place this Sunday.

Kick-off at the London Stadium is at 14:00 GMT.

TEAM NEWS

West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo makes three changes from the 2-1 loss at Leeds United.

Freddie Potts, Mateus Fernandes and Callum Wilson are brought into the side.

Tomas Soucek and Andy Irving drop to the bench, while Ollie Scarles is out injured.

There are two changes for Newcastle from last weekend: Emil Krafth and Sandro Tonali come in for Kieran Trippier, who misses out due to illness, and the benched Lewis Miley.

Lewis Hall is back among the substitutes after returning from injury.

          Newcastle are goal shy
          He gets subbed every game
          He's not on pens
          Doesn't have great expected goals or stats
          Wissa will see him rotated

          Better options on pens and better mins in teams with better expected goals

              I don't mind it but I don't like Welbeck as an asset long term I can promise you he does this every season has a great spell at the beginning of season then goes completely off the boil/ injuries etc every season

    didnt realise if things stay as they are, newcastle will only have scored 10 goals in 10 games. 8 in 3 in CL. they can get up for the big matches but no energy for the pl ones?

    5 hours and 36 litres of petrol to drive from newcastle to west ham and same to get home again ,thats 100 quid in petrol 10 hours travel and about £40 quid to get in ,crikey,you have to be keen
