Man City v Liverpool team news: Cherki starts, Reijnders + Gakpo subs

Sunday’s 16:30 GMT kick-off is set to be a big one for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, with Gameweek 11’s most-captained player Erling Haaland in action against Liverpool.

TEAM NEWS

Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side that started the 4-1 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

John Stones, Tijjani Reijnders and Savinho drop to the bench, with Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki coming into the starting XI.

Liverpool are unchanged from the midweek win over Real Madrid, which means Florian Wirtz keeps his place in front of Cody Gakpo.

Alexander Isak is named among the substitutes.

          not sure what the point is. are u comparing his total goals to arsenals? arsenal have 20 he has 8

          or are u comparing the open play goals but counting his set pieces too? becuase set peices goals are somehow not valid?

          either way arsenal would have more open play goals if they conceded more and needed to, like vs newc city and sunderland. the style is obviously protecting the lead, which has clearly worked for the most part. 4 points lead

    A five point BB all in all, then, from Dubravka + Gudmundsson + Longstaff + Senesi. Blimey.

    No help from most of the gents in the XI either, especially Burn and Semenyo. Mbeumo’s 7 the high score with only the usual Haaland(c) to go.

    Only 1FT with which to sort that mess out over the international break! Szobo audition today, feels like Thiago needs to come in for Woltemade too. Burn would have been benched for City anyway I suppose!
