Man City v Liverpool team news: Cherki starts, Reijnders + Gakpo subs

Sunday’s 16:30 GMT kick-off is set to be a big one for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, with Gameweek 11’s most-captained player Erling Haaland in action against Liverpool.

TEAM NEWS

Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side that started the 4-1 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

John Stones, Tijjani Reijnders and Savinho drop to the bench, with Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki coming into the starting XI.

Liverpool are unchanged from the midweek win over Real Madrid, which means Florian Wirtz keeps his place in front of Cody Gakpo.

Alexander Isak is named among the substitutes.

        Agree that VVD doesn’t live up to his price tag but I think I’ll assess for a few more easier fixtures. Rest should be fine after IB

    Why is the FPL app absolutely useless? When I click on my leagues, the matches don't appear there. Have to go on the browser. Been like this all season. You would have thought these ridiculous bugs would have been ironed out by now.

    Also: why does the game take hours and hours to update? I'm not one of those people who is refreshing it every 5 minutes but it just seems like it's very slow. I know there are about 12 million players but you would have thought this could be done a lot quicker in this day and age.
