NOTES
- Christian Walton starts in goal purely due to the fixture. I will still check the line-ups closer to the deadline, as Alex Palmer has returned from injury.
- I line up with two at the back. Leif Davis leads a defensive double-up from Ipswich, while Jack Tucker partners him. Tucker offers strong bonus potential and benefits from a favourable home fixture against a struggling Newport County side.
- In midfield, Luke Molyneux earns his place thanks to his goal threat, interception potential, and an excellent fixture. Tommi O’Reilly follows for his all-round involvement and multiple routes to points. Rounding off the midfield is Davis Keillor-Dunn, who continues to impress in front of goal and arrives in red-hot scoring form this season.
- Up front, Emre Tezgel leads the line. The fixture appeals, and four goals in his last four matches give him plenty of confidence heading into the round.
- For team selections, Colchester United and Swindon Town stand out. Both sides enjoy strong home fixtures, and I expect three points from each.
- The captaincy goes to Jack Tucker, who offers a combination of clean-sheet potential and reliable baseline returns.

NOTES
- Formation: 2-3-1
- Captain: Aune Heggebø (WBA)
- Team Picks: CRE & PET
- Overall Rank: 4,061
- I somehow sit just inside the top 4k at the halfway point of the season. It hasn’t been the strongest start, but there’s still plenty of time to recover ground, and I’m backing fixtures and underlying data to drive that push.
- In goal, I opt for Christian Walton (IPS). The final call depends on which Ipswich goalkeeper Kieran McKenna selects, but for now Walton gets the nod. Sheffield Wednesday have scored the fewest goals in the league and have managed just one win all season, making this an appealing fixture.
- At the back, Charlie Goode (STE) partners Jack Tucker (COL). Goode returns from suspension and faces a Burton Albion side with the second-worst attacking output in the league at 0.84 goals scored per 90. Stevenage, meanwhile, have conceded just three goals at home all season, putting Goode firmly in the clean-sheet conversation. Tucker continues to impress for baseline returns. He leads the entire EFL for clearances, and with Newport County averaging just 0.85 goals scored per 90, he looks well placed for bonus points once again.
- Midfield features Brian De Keersmaecker (OXF), Tommi O’Reilly (CRE), and Archie Collins (PET). Despite registering just one goal and seven assists from 19 appearances, De Keersmaecker has still accumulated an impressive 130 points. He should stay busy against Carey and Coventry, which boosts his interception potential. O’Reilly offers more direct attacking threat. He has recorded 13 goal involvements in 20 matches, converting one goal from every two shots on target and supplying an assist from one in every four key passes. Collins completes the trio as another interception-heavy midfielder, and he should deliver steady returns against Port Vale.
- Up front, I hand the armband to Aune Heggebø (WBA). I can’t ignore the threat he carries right now. The Norwegian has produced 11 goal involvements, with eight goals and three assists from 21 appearances. He now faces Hull City, the weakest defence in the Championship, who concede 1.67 goals per 90. Another haul feels firmly within reach.
- For team selections, I back Crewe Alexandra and Peterborough United. Bristol Rovers have lost more matches than any other side in League Two, which strengthens the case for Crewe’s strong home form. Port Vale, meanwhile, have won just one home match in League One, giving Peterborough the edge in that fixture.

NOTES
- In goal, I opt for Jake Eastwood. Accrington Stanley offer very little going forward and continue to struggle creatively. That makes Eastwood a strong target this week, especially given he plays behind one of the most reliable defensive units at home.
- In defence, I start with Leif Davis. He brings genuine attacking upside alongside a strong clean-sheet opportunity. Jack Tucker partners him as the safer option. His defensive data remains excellent, he consistently accumulates bonus points, and a favourable fixture puts a clean sheet firmly in play.
- Midfield begins with Luke Molyneux, who continues to deliver steady returns. He faces a Plymouth Argyle side that have struggled defensively, making this an appealing matchup. Harry Anderson takes the captaincy. He arrives in strong form and comes up against one of the weakest sides in the EFL, which is difficult to overlook. The final midfield slot goes to Núñez. This is a fixture-driven selection. Ipswich enjoy an excellent matchup, and if he starts, he offers clear potential.
- Up front, Oliver McBurnie leads the line. He remains the focal point of the attack, is building fitness, and benefits from a favourable fixture. That combination makes him an interesting differential this week.
- For team selections, I back Swindon Town and Colchester United. Both sides benefit from strong fixtures on paper and carry plenty of upside heading into the round.

NOTES
- In goal, I go with Christian Walton. From the outset, a home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday is about as favourable as it gets. Ipswich have also kept four clean sheets in their last five home matches, which further underlines their defensive strength on their own ground.
- Turning to the defence, my first selection is Jack Tucker. Once again, Colchester’s home fixture stands out this week, and Tucker continues to excel for defensive bonus potential. As a result, that combination makes him a very appealing pick. Alongside him is Charlie Goode. In comparison, the Stevenage defender offers added goal threat, a strong fixture, and reliable defensive returns. Crucially, with Stevenage boasting an excellent home defensive record, Goode looks like a standout option in this round.
- Moving into midfield, Luke Molyneux is my first choice. In particular, Doncaster face a Plymouth Argyle side who have struggled defensively, which immediately makes this a fixture worth targeting. Moreover, Molyneux provides multiple routes to points through assists, key passes, and interceptions, further strengthening his appeal. Next up is Harry Anderson. Similarly, Colchester’s home clash with Newport County is one that stands out on the fixture list. Anderson also arrives in strong form, having produced two goals and three assists in his last six matches, alongside consistent interception and shots-on-target output. Therefore, with form, fixture, and versatility all in his favour, he looks a very solid option this week. Finally, Tommi O’Reilly rounds out the midfield. He, too, comes into the round in good form, recording two goals and four assists across his last six appearances. Like the others, he benefits from multiple scoring routes and a favourable fixture against a struggling Bristol Rovers side.
- Up front, I opt for Jayden Philogene. Once again, Ipswich’s home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday is one that demands investment, particularly given their strong recent form at Portman Road. Philogene has already registered seven goals and four assists this season despite not always starting. Therefore, if he gets the nod, he should pose a constant threat throughout.
- Finally, when it comes to team selections, my first choice is Swindon Town, who host Crawley Town in an attractive home fixture. Notably, Crawley have managed just one away win in their last ten matches, which only strengthens the case for backing Swindon. In addition, my second team pick is Colchester United, who also benefit from a home meeting with a struggling Newport County side. Overall, both fixtures look well worth targeting this week.

NOTES
- Cambridge are excellent at home so backing them with goalkeeper Eastwood, as I’m not overly keen on their defenders, makes sense.
- At the back, Leif Davis is locked due to Ipswich dominating the clean sheet odds, along with his attacking threat. Colchester also look likely to keep a clean sheet so clearance beast Tucker joins him.
- I have opted with a three-man midfield. Crewe Alexandra’s Tommi O’Reilly takes the armband. This is mainly due to lack of options elsewhere, his sides predicted goals this week, and his explosiveness. Colchester attacking coverage looks important this week, and Anderson is their standout option. I’m on the fence with Luke Molyneux, I think Plymouth could turn up this week. If I move away from him I’ll back Davis Keillor-Dunn again.
- You have to have Ipswich attacking cover due to their odds this week. I’m not massively keen on their options though. In addition, most feel like they could come off early. However, Philogene makes the cut for now.
- I have avoided Ipswich and Swindon, saving them for doubles. My team picks are Colchester and Cambridge. Ultimately, I’m unlikely to need them again this season and they should win this week.
- Good luck this week!
