FPLReactions
It’s time for another team reveal as we approach Gameweek 19 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
Dan Wright – who you can find here on X – has five top 10k finishes, which means he ranks 17th in our Career Hall of Fame.
Gameweek 18 didn’t go to plan. I finished on 39 points and dropped roughly 25k places to around 75k overall.
Start one please
A) Wilson (cpa)
B) DCL (liv)
C) Milley (bur)
A)
B
That's a real tough one for me.
A just takes it for me, based on form of player & opposition. Really fancy Miley/Newcastle against Burnley though.
Never B for me
Wilson should score
Is Hincapie still nailed if Calafiori is out, on left back ?
he shd start yes, if cala is out
I think Hincapie will start LB over MLS if Calafiori is out. Gabriel should start LCB imo
Yes, think so too
I'm leaning towards MLS because Arsenal will dominate possession and MLS is a better defender against counter attacks, so I'm 60/40 MLS.
Latest UK weather forecast for this week.
Currently only northern Scotland has a yellow warning for snow and ice.
https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/news-and-media/media-centre/weather-and-climate-news/2025/cold-start-to-new-year-with-snow-and-ice-warning-issued
So all the games should be safe?
FH active best option :
1
A) Palmer + Rice
B) Saka + Neto/J Pedro
2
A) Milenkovic
B) Hall
C) Lacroix
A B
1A, 2B or C
worth doing Minteh > Cunha?
Yay/ Nay
I'd say Nay. Cunha is a target for sure, but I don't think Minteh is an out (yet)
Yay from me. WOL is too plum.
Who to bench
1 Guehi home Fulham
2 Timber home Villa
3 Roger’s away Arsenal
4 Wilson away Palace
??
Guehi will score vs Fulham. He's their only match winner.
2 may not be fit, think villa score, ars not had to many cs recently
Rogers will be suffocated vs Arsenal. So bench.
Bench 1
A- Minteh (WHU Away)
B- Bruno G (BUR Away)
C- Wilson (CRY Away)
C
A
Wilson is very productive away from home. Plus Palace are starting to fall apart.
Play 2
A vvd
B lacroix
C Andersen
D Calafiori *
Cheers
AC
Need to use my WC this week - how do I look?
Roefs Dubravka
Gabriel Gvardiol Gusto Truffert Heaven
Saka Foden Rogers Semenyo Wilson
Haaland Ekitike Guiu
Intending to bench: Guiu, Gusto, Truffert this week
Thats the WC?
Don't like it much.
Semenyo Wilson and most of the defense Id change
Agree am afraid
Food for thoughts:
GK Verbruggen
DEF Grabriel Thiaw/Hall Keane Dalot (if fancy short term) Chalobah
MID would consider Cherki Rice Gordon Cunha albeit Foden Rogers Saka are fine
FWD fine for 352
@Magic Ziko - appreciate the input.
A couple questions:
1) Why no City DF?
2) Newcastle CS not very likely?
3) Cherki not a rotation risk?
4) Gordon out of form?
5) 3 city - 1DF/1MF/1FW? or 2MF(Cherki/Foden)/Haaland?
Looks a lot like my initial one, but after some inputs here i landed more like the one Magic zico over here says
Would you choose Palmer or Saka on FH?
Saka keeps producing points. Makes no sense unless you desperately need money to invest elsewhere.
Palmer on FH
On FH I'd go with Palmer vs BOU. Some risks with minutes but BOU are leaky.
Saka.
Roefs Dubravka
Timber Chalaboh Guehl Tarkowski Clyne
Saka Foden Rice Semenyo Miley
Haaland Ekitike Thiago
1ft
0.3 itb
Okay to save?
Not saved many transfers this season, could be an opportunity to save some up
Save
Bench 1:
A) Wilson
B) Semenyo
C) Minteh
D) Thiago
Verbruggen
Keane Lacroix Dias
Foden Cunha
Haaland Ekitike
Dubravka xxx Hincapie Mukiele

WHO to upgrade on this FH? 1,1 itb
Lammens
Dorgu - James - Hall
Wirtz - Palmer - Cunha - Cherki
Haaland - ekitike
Gvardiol also in def
I'm on FH too, I'm not even considering a triple up on man united
I take it you've considered James might not start as he is always benched in one of the games if there are 3 games in a week
Otherwise gtg
What to do here with 2 FT and 0 itb? I have no clue rn.
Ramsdale
Timber* VVD Richards*
Foden Cunha Semenyo Gordon
Haaland Ekitike Thiago
—
Dub Senesi Mukiele Ba
Gonna go with Dorgu for Rodon
Will go with Haaland (C). If DCL can score against them surely Haaland will too.
DCL 5.8M Haaland 15M+, so hattrick it is 😛
Opinion on what to do with Hincapie (AVL) please, got Raya as GK:
A. Bench, play Keane (nfo)
B. Sell, buy Gabriel and play him
C. Sell, buy Dalot (WOL lee bur) for next three
A.
B
C
Pretty much split boys 😛
D
Brilliant 😛
Play 1.
1.Keane
2.Semenyo
3.Thiago.
Thanks
Thiago
Hincapie > Hall?
Why not, I would if only I haven't got Thiaw
Thoughts on this wc please?
Dub/verbruggen
Guehi dalot o'reilly Keane chalobah
Saka rice Foden Wilson Anderson
Haaland dcl ekitke
Most unsure about the Defence, Wilson and dcl
How would get Arsenal defence if they get themselves together again?
Yeah, my thoughts also, im considering trying to fit in Gabriel or is it to soon? Was initially thinking cala but unsure if its better to go for gab
Too soon at the moment because he's not back in the team at the moment, but have a plan ready e.g. money ITB. Something like upgrading Chalobah?
Thx, yes i can always take out dalot and o'reilly
Hi guys here's my team, unsure whether to save or not.
Roefs
Timber Senesi O'Reilly
Saka Rice Semenyo Rogers Foden
Haaland Thiago
Dubravka Esteve Gudmudsson Guiu
£2.2 itb 1ft
1. Semenyo to Cunha for free
2. Senesi to Keane for free
3. Both of the above for -4
4. Semenyo to Wirtz for free
5. Save
thanks guys!
Timber to Gabriel? 1FT, 0.3itb
Dubravka
Timber O’Reilly Thiaw
Saka Cunha Foden Semenyo
Haaland Thiago Ekitike
Petrovic Stach Rodon Reinildo
Edwards when asked about the previous game vs United:
“That was a night that we were able to learn a lot about ourselves. We made some mistakes that sped their attacks up and sped the game up for them, and when they've got confidence, which they had, and we almost made the decisions for them, they open you up too many times. So, we'll be able to learn from those bits."
Sound like the bus will be parked. If so, United did struggle against low blocks this season.
Hincapie, Rodon or Richards the priority out?
(Likely Dorgu in or another cheap buy to eventually fund Gabriel)
Guys this is my team, already at -4.
Raya
Timber, Guehi, VdV
Saka, Foden, Cunha, Kudus
Haaland, Woltemade, Mateta
Dubravka, Miley, Esteve, Clyne
Thinking of going Timber, Kudus, Mateta to Dorgu, Cherki, Ekitike for another -12 (-16 in total). Guehi can become Gabriel for free as soon as gw19 starts. Am I too insane for thinking about this?
Insane
Why is everyone piling in on Hall/Thiaw? Newcastle DF have been useless as of late. xGC means nothing if they don't follow through.
Thoughts on this FH?
Sanchez
Hall Oreilly Dorgu
Palmer Cunha Wirtz Rice Cherki
Haaland Ekitike
3.9, Alderete, Ekdal, Guiu
I prefer Heaven over Alderate and i’’ going to take someone from Arsenal and maybe Liverpool def
Baby, he's all that you want. When he's lying there in your arms.
Is Semenyo to Cunha worth it for a -4? Semenyo's fixtures are hardening so it might be a good time.
I wouldnt do it for a hit. Likely would if it for free. Semenyo has to go next week though.
Tempted by Anderson > Szobo for a hit. Plan to keep szobo long term and might even pay off this gw. Bad idea?
I don't think the probable points from Szobo would be worth a hit. I'm looking at Cunha above.
would really appreciate some feedback 🙂
planning truffert to dorgu which would give me
pope (dub)
timber chalobah dorgu (hincapie alderete )
saka foden burno g szobo (potts)
thiago haaland ekitike (c)
1 ft 0.9 itb
thanks and gl
Which one would you rather have?
A) Semenyo
B) Gordon
