NOTES
- I’ve gone with Daniel Iversen in goal. He feels a little under the radar this week, but the fixture suits him well and the opposition offer limited attacking threat. That gives him a genuine chance of returning a clean sheet.
- At the back, Dara O’Shea looks a very safe pick. He comes into the round with strong clean-sheet potential and has the kind of reliability you want in a Double Gameweek. Alongside him, Liam Kitching offers a nice balance of defensive work and goal threat, which adds some extra upside.
- In midfield, Imran Louza keeps his place. He continues to tick over for points and benefits from a very kind set of fixtures. Barry Bannan also feels like one of those dependable selections. He often picks up returns without much fuss, and two home matches only strengthen his appeal. I’ve also gone with Sorba Thomas, who remains one of the Championship’s standout assets and has favourable fixtures to work with.
- Up front, I’m backing Ellis Simms. Minutes always carry a bit of risk, but if he starts, the fixtures give him every chance to deliver.
- For the team picks, Ipswich Town felt like an obvious choice given their schedule this week. I’ve paired them with Coventry City, who look well placed to get back to winning ways.

NOTES
- I’ve gone with Daniel Iversen in goal. He has two home fixtures against weaker opposition and rarely concedes on home soil, which makes him a strong option this week.
- At the back, Leif Davis gets the nod for his attacking threat and two favourable home matches. Ben Cabango also makes the cut. His bonus-point potential stands out, and two home fixtures only add to his appeal.
- Midfield looks well balanced. Sorba Thomas has been a constant threat all season and continues to rack up points. Ben Davies stays in the side mainly for his interception numbers, but he also offers contributions in other areas. Barry Bannan rounds things off. I like his chances this week, with interceptions likely and the possibility of adding an attacking return.
- Up front, Ellis Simms leads the line. He comes into the round in strong form and faces two sides that struggle away from home.
- For team picks, I’m backing Preston North End. They’ve won their last two matches and have lost just twice at home all season. Birmingham City are my second selection. Both matches are away, but I’m taking a chance on them to pick up wins and maximise away points.
- Captaincy currently sits on Sorba Thomas.

NOTES
- In goal I have gone with Preston North End’s Daniel Iverson. Two home matches and good defensive form makes him a shoo-in between the sticks.
- Leif Davis is one of two good routes into the Ipswich defence. Meanwhile, Charlton haven’t been great, but Lloyd Jones continues to pick up 5-6 pointers even without a clean sheet.
- Sorba Thomas currently has the armband, but I’m not entirely convinced. He has multiple routes to points, so he could well keep it though. Barry Bannan is another player who picks up points through different avenues. I also like Patrick Roberts as a route into the Birmingham attack, especially because he faces Sheffield Wednesday.
- Striker picks are poor this week, so I have settled on the one leading the line of the best team in the Championship, Ellis Simms.
- I’m limited with Ipswich team picks, so I’ll likely opt for Birmingham City, they should at least win their match against Wednesday, and have a decent chance against Swansea. Watford’s form makes them a good pick. Although, I have never had success when choosing them as a team pick, so we’ll see.
- I’m also considering Ipswich’s Azor Matusiwa, Watford’s Imran Louza, Sheffield United’s Callum O’Hare, and Southampton’s Adam Armstrong.
- Good luck!
