Whether it’s questions on transfers, captaincy, chip strategy or anything in between, Scout’s Deputy Editor will tackle whatever’s thrown at him.

      If you want to do those moves anyway, then yes. But I would question that you'd want Rice that much after the double, so seems unnecessary to use the transfer on him, plus the extra risk of buying Thiago a week earlier than you want him, while Ekitike is still a decent enough option.

        Its more for the DGW, and Sunderland are strong at home more than anything else

          I mean Ekitike's a decent enough option in general, so you shouldn't be desperate to get rid when things might change by next GW. If he was a dud (injured/awful), then a premature transfer would be more justifiable in my eyes. You could make up the Rice's extra DGW points in other ways with your FT(s) in the future (could be more than one FT if you have to sell Rice again before the blank, and another FT in the event that Thiago is injured before next GW). It's not a big deal though, it might just even out, or maybe Rice hauls big time. But I would tend to go with the player I want longer-term. For now, Wilson is cheaper, so won't be draining extra money from your budget every week. You could sell him when the time is right for a player you want more than Rice (or as part of a different combo of moves that is more valuable). Whereas if you have Rice, you might be reluctant to sell him because you only just spent a FT on him a few weeks ago!

          Seems like you have DGW FOMO though, which is understandable, so go for it if you don't want to miss out this week.

            Yeah you are spot on, I have FOMO but your comments make me realise I dont really need to do much. It's not as if Brentford away is that easy a game
