Tottenham Hotspur have dispensed with the services of Thomas Frank on Wednesday morning.
Frank only took charge last summer, but a winless league run reached eight matches in last night’s home loss to Newcastle United. It means that Spurs are currently 16th in the table.
TOTTENHAM STATEMENT ON FRANK
“The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.
“Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.
“However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary.
“Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.” – from the Tottenham Hotspur website
WHAT NEXT?
As a result of such poor form, very few of their players have Fantasy Premier League (FPL) appeal.
Micky van de Ven (£4.5m) is their sole player who exceeds 10% overall ownership, a popularity unseen amongst still-active managers.

But whoever succeeds Frank in the dugout will immediately face Arsenal (h), Fulham (a), Crystal Palace (h) and Liverpool (a).
