NOTES
- Round 22 brought 55 points and a small red arrow. Karim Benzema blanked, but I gave the armband to Rúben Neves, and that decision kept me inside the top 10k.
- I made two moves. I sold Karim Benzema for Cristiano Ronaldo to secure the standout captaincy option this week. I also moved Mohammed Mahzari to Gaston Álvarez to strengthen the defence.
- Marcelo Grohe starts in goal.
- At the back, I line up with Roger Ibañez, Danilo Pereira, Álvarez and Saad Balobaid. There’s clean-sheet potential across the board, plus threat from set pieces.
- Midfield includes João Félix, Konstantinos Fortounis, Julian Quinones and Neves. All four offer goal involvement and strong underlying form.
- Up front, Ronaldo partners Ivan Toney – arguably the two standout forwards this round.
- Amadou Koné and Nathan Zézé sit on the bench as cover.
- Captaincy comes down to Toney or Ronaldo, and I’m seriously considering activating the two-captain chip.

NOTES
- I could easily roll the transfer this week. I’ve got two playable subs and cover for Theo Hernández, who remains flagged.
- But I don’t own Cristiano Ronaldo, and I don’t feel comfortable going into Al Nassr’s fixtures without doubling up on their attack.
- I can’t stretch to Sadio Mane, so I’m moving for Kingsley Coman instead. That means selling Valentín Vada, with a plan to reverse the move in a few weeks as I prepare to fund a switch back towards Karim Benzema.
- I still rate Vada as a strong enabling option, but I already have Khalid Al-Ghannam covering that budget midfield slot. That gives me the flexibility to upgrade now and attack the fixtures.
- The armband goes to Ivan Toney.

NOTES
- After a disappointing round that finished on 57 points, I head into this week with one free transfer in hand.
- Honestly, I like the look of my squad. It feels balanced and well set up. But for the first time this season, I’m seriously considering activating the Two Captains chip. This round looks like the ideal window to attack it, especially with Double Gameweek 27 pencilled in for the Park the Bus chip.
- If I pull the trigger, Ivan Toney locks in as one of the two captains without question. The second armband would go to either Joao Felix or Julian Quinones – both have strong fixtures and genuine haul potential.
- Now it’s just about deciding which pairing gives me the bigger ceiling.

NOTES
- My main move this week is clear: I’m selling Joshua King and bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo for a hit – and he’ll take the armband.
- To fund that, I’ll downgrade Malcom to one of the cheaper midfield options. The shortlist includes Josh Brownhill, John Buckley, Christopher Baah, Biel, and Mohamed Kanno. It comes down to fixtures and minutes, but I need someone who can hold the slot for a few weeks.
- I’m also likely to move on Theo Hernández, who looks set to miss out. Defensive replacements under consideration are Mohammed Mahzari, Muteb Al-Mufarrij, Rayan Hamed, Ali Majrashi, Gaston Álvarez, Abdullah Al-Khateeb and Abdulbaset Hindi.
- The structure is aggressive, but if Ronaldo delivers, it pays off quickly.

NOTES
- This is how I’m lining up for the round.
- I’ve made the defensive switch by bringing in Mohamed Simakan for Theo Hernández. With Theo’s situation uncertain, I didn’t want to risk carrying a flagged premium into a key week. Simakan gives me security of minutes, strong clean-sheet potential and added threat from set plays – it feels like the smarter, more stable move right now.
- The big play, though, comes with the chip.
- I’m activating the Two Captains chip and backing both Julian Quinones and Ivan Toney. Quinones has the kind of fixture where his advanced role can really pay off, while Toney continues to look like one of the most reliable forwards in the league. If both deliver, this could be a real rank-changer.
- It’s aggressive, but the upside is there – and this feels like the right week to attack it.
