It’s time for our Fantasy Bundesliga Matchday 24 team reveals, as our experts showcase the best picks, top differentials, and smart plays for the week ahead.

@MeijersDavid

NOTES

  • In goal, I’m actively looking to shake things up. Over the last few weeks, my keepers have barely scraped 200 points at times and that has cost me ground. I want more upside. That’s why I’m targeting Kamil Grabara. He faces shot-happy sides in the coming period, which boosts his save ceiling as well as clean-sheet potential. I also considered Nicolas, but Grabara edges it for me right now. The only question left is whether I sell Marvin Schwabe or Diant Ramaj to make it happen.
  • At the back, I currently own Alejandro Grimaldo, David Raum, Edmond Tapsoba, Vladimir Coufal and Ozan Kabak. My defensive moves depend on what happens with Tapsoba and Mittelstädt in Thursday’s Europa League match. If either sees heavy minutes, I’ll likely move. Coufal stands ready to come in. If I sell both, Nathaniel Brown sits high on my watchlist thanks to a strong fixture run. I also want Nico Schlotterbeck back in my squad soon. Playing Bayern complicates that decision, even if he did post 271 points in the reverse fixture.
  • Midfield gives me the biggest headache. I own Michael Olise, Alexis Claude-Maurice, Romano Schmid, Aleix Garcia and Christoph Baumgartner. Nadiem Amiri keeps delivering and continues to score, but an away trip to his former club Leverkusen makes me nervous. I may cash in. Schmid looks ready to come back in with a promising run ahead. I’m also weighing up whether to sell Burger and lock in Garcia’s consistency. I don’t need to force it, but it’s firmly under consideration.
  • Up front, I’m sticking with Harry Kane, Luis Díaz and Yan Diomande. I keep looking at Andrej Kramarić as a potential punt, but I can’t justify selling any of my current front three. Right now, they stay.

NOTES

  • That was actually a strong Gameweek for me. Leipzig hurt, but switching to a 4-4-2 saved it. Selling Baum and Yan Diomande paid off, which made the difference.
  • This week throws up a tough clash between Dortmund and Bayern. After missing the chance to go 2-0 up against Atalanta, Dortmund will want to refocus fully on the league. I’m not sure I want to overload on Bayern in that fixture. Three feels like too many, so I’ll probably move Luis Díaz on.
  • Other players I’m considering selling are Asllani, Sano, Vieira and Schlotterbeck. Potential replacements include Leopold Querfeld, Ozan Kabak, Romano Schmid, Andrej Kramaric and Deniz Undav.
  • Tactically, I’ll likely return to a 4-3-3, although I may switch back to 4-4-2 depending on how things line up. My key men this week will be Maximilian Mittelstadt, Alexis Claude-Maurice and either Harry Kane or Deniz Undav.
  • I’m leaning slightly more differential to try and push up the ranks. Good luck, everyone.

NOTES

  • I’m sticking with the same stars as last Matchday because it worked, and I don’t see a reason to overthink it.
  • I’m targeting goalkeepers facing sides with strong predicted goal numbers. More shots should mean more save opportunities, which raises the ceiling.
  • Edmond Tapsoba isn’t 100% certain to start right now, but I expect that to change as we get closer to the deadline. I’ll monitor it.
  • I’m backing Hoffenheim assets because the fixtures look good. In midfield, I’m still undecided on the exact combinations, but we have to field three and make it work.
  • David Raum comes back in as he remains a strong option in his position. And Yan Diomande stays. He’s set and forget for me at this point.
