In-form Bournemouth take on a Sunderland side without a win in eight away league matches in Saturday’s early kick-off.

The action gets underway at 12.30pm GMT.

TEAM NEWS

Andoni Iraola makes two changes from last weekend.

Evanilson and Amine Adli drop to the bench, with David Brooks and Marcus Tavernier promoted to the starting line-up.

This is the fit-again Tavernier’s first league start since mid-January.

As a result of Evanilson’s demotion to substitute duty, it looks like Eli Junior Kroupi will be playing up front.

As for Sunderland, Regis Le Bris makes four changes from the 3-1 home defeat by Fulham.

Three are enforced due to injuries to Nordi Mukiele, Brian Brobbey and Jocelin Ta Bi.

Nilson Angulo drops to the bench, too.

Coming into the side, Granit Xhaka returns to the starting line-up for the first time in six weeks.

Lutsharel Geertruida, Eliezer Malenda and Chemsdine Talbi are also handed recalls.

LINE-UPS

Bournemouth XI: Petrovic, Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert, Scott, Adams, Brooks, Rayan, Kroupi, Tavernier.

Subs: Mandas, Evanilson, Christie, Smith, Diakite, Adli, Unal, Toth, Milosavljevic.

Sunderland XI: Roefs, Geertruida, Ballard, Alderete, Hume, Sadiki, Xhaka, Le Fee, Diarra, Mayenda, Talbi.

Subs: Ellborg, Angulo, Rigg, O’Nien, Isidor, Traore, Aleksic, H Jones, J Jones.

For any of the small group who both already Wildcarded and have 12 starters in GW31, is Sarr worth a punt? Great fixtures and an almost guaranteed double in 33

Sarr has great fixtures? They don't look that good to me. New manager bounce Spurs, Leeds (who have lost only 1 game in the last 5), and a blank in 31. No thanks. There are better options.

Tav peppering the goal this game. Looks desperate for a goal.

Might get him in next GW if he comes off early...

3-0, all assists by Hill, all goals by Kroupi and additional 7 saved pens by Roefs

Hill hattrick, Kroupi hattrick, Roefs scores from corner and saves a penalty but Kroupi doesn't take it

Realistically a 5-pointer for Roefs from saves, a brace for Kroupi (13), and defcon and an assist for Hill (2 bonus, 9) = 27

Or a pen save from Roefs for like a 16 pointer, a Kroupi blank (2), and Hill DEFCON (4) is 20 points

Roefs saves a pen but gets injured in the rebound action, gets taken off for 16 points, then Kroupi braces with Hill assists

Picked him based on 1 highlight I saw against West Ham. In addition to being a pretty pessimistic Sunderland fan.

First I've really seen him play. Looks a handful, but just not involved in the game.

No such English grammar structure as "should of " - it doesn't make sense. "Should've", which sounds just the same, is what you're looking for.

So Sunderland lose 3-1 at home to Fulham, but suddenly do this away to Bournemouth (who are unbeaten in a while if I'm not mistaken). The inconsistency and randomness of this season is unbearable.

Tbf, it's always close in football

Unlike rugby where the strongest team dominates

Hence cup shocks when they are leagues apart

Nearing gw30. Sensible decisions and patient play all season. On 4 FTs, not hits taken. Still there hasn't been a single good gw. Every one is pure pain with good picks on paper doing f all. Watching trash football games hoping something will happen that will yield FPL points.

    Why even play this game?

Serious question. Why do you bother? I feel similar about the standard of Football and FPL as a game these days and give it a fraction of the attention I used to and it's much more enjoyable as a result

58: The game is interrupted. Granit Xhaka (Sunderland) has violated the rules in the battle for the ball. No protests or gestures are being made as he is quite aware of what he did.
