The Eliteserien Fantasy season continues with Gameweek 4. Our contributors are here to share their thoughts ahead of the upcoming deadline.
In this article, they reveal the teams, along with their captaincy choices, potential chip strategies, and the players they believe can make the biggest impact this week.

NOTES
- The plan was simple. Roll the transfer, start all five defenders, and activate Park the Bus. However, both Claus Niyukuri and Alexander Warneryd went off injured in the last round. It sounds like Warneryd should be fine, but at the time of writing, there’s still no clear update on Niyukuri.
- If nothing comes out before the deadline, the easy move would be to cancel the chip and bring someone in from the bench. The problem is, it might be tricky to set this chip up again later. This also feels like one of the few Gameweeks where captaining a defender actually makes sense, even without a chip. I’d probably still lean towards Kasper Høgh, but Leo Cornic and Warneryd are both very close. Because of that, I’m still keen to play the chip now.
- I originally brought in Niyukuri for his attacking threat, so I don’t really want to swap him for another Sarpsborg 08 defender. Instead, I’m looking at moving him to a second Lillestrøm defender. I actually considered doubling up on Lillestrøm at the wildcard, but outside of Lars Ranger, the minutes felt uncertain. This week is different. We’ll get the lineup ahead of the better fixture in the double, the home game against Start, so I can make a more informed call on who to bring in.
- The downside is that it likely costs me a second transfer, as I’m already maxed out on Lillestrøm players. That means Marcus Dahlberg makes way for Oscar Hedvall. The Vålerenga keeper has been excellent so far, already picking up three bonus points on two separate occasions.

NOTES
- The team looks well set up this week after the Wildcard. The Attack Attack chip is active as planned, and it should be a really interesting round with so many chips in play.
- Emil Breivik is the only single Gameweek player in the squad, but I’m more than happy to keep him. He’s a strong long-term option, and I’d still back him to deliver even with just the one fixture
- Good luck, all!

NOTES
- Coming off a strong start to the Wildcard with 89 points and a big green arrow, we move into the first Double Gameweek of the season with the Attack Attack chip active.
- It’s a fairly straightforward week. I’m rolling the transfer and backing the chip, with all forwards doubling. The plan is to roll again in Gameweek 5, then use the free transfer to really attack Double Gameweek 6.
- At the moment, I’m starting Claus Niyukuri, but he’s still a doubt. Unless he’s confirmed fit, I’ll bench him. The fixtures in the double aren’t great anyway, and my bench options have strong single fixtures.
- Good luck, everyone!

NOTES
- I’ve activated Park the Bus (Parken Bussen) this week, going with a triple Tromsø defence alongside one Lillestrøm defender, all with Double Gameweeks. To avoid taking a hit, I’ve decided to keep Henrik Falchener, despite him not scoring more than two points in a gameweek so far this season. It’s a risky call, especially with the tough fixture against Bodø/Glimt.
- I’ve made one transfer, bringing in Sturla Ottesen for Stian Kristiansen. It helps maximise the number of doublers in the squad this week.
- There’s no need to pick a captain with the Park the Bus chip active.
