While it’s a quieter-than-usual Saturday of Premier League football, there’s plenty to interest Fantasy managers today.

New FPL darlings Brighton and Hove Albion are up later, while Liverpool and Brentford are both at home.

First up, though, is Arsenal v Bournemouth, which kicks off at 12:30 BST.

TEAM NEWS

The Gunners are still without Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber, while Riccardo Calafiori and Martin Odegaard are fresh casualties from midweek.

Eberechi Eze and Piero Hincapie are back from injury and among the substitutes, however.

There are three changes from Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League win over Sporting CP.

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Kai Havertz come in for Calafiori and Odegaard, while there’s also an alteration on the left wing as Gabriel Martinelli gets the nod over the benched Leandro Trossard.

Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice, who recovered from minor issues to feature against Sporting, start as expected.

It’s been a long time since Bournemouth last played a competitive match. Over three weeks, in fact, when they salvaged a late draw against Manchester United.

Andoni Iraola makes just one change to the side he sent out then, with Eli Junior Kroupi coming in for Amine Adli.

That alteration will see Marcus Tavernier move to a wider role.

Tyler Adams is fit again and makes the visitors’ bench.

LINE-UPS

Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Zubimendi, Havertz, Martinelli, Madueke, Gyokeres.

Subs: Arrizabalaga, Mosquera, Hincapie, Jesus, Eze, Norgaard, Trossard, Dowman, Salmon.

Bournemouth XI: Petrovic, Jimenez, Senesi, Hill, Truffert, Christie, Scott, Tavernier, Kroupi, Rayan, Evanilson.

Subs: Mandas, Adams, Brooks, Gannon-Doak, Smith, Diakite, Adli, Unal, Toth.

Surely not another season - still think they will win

Although deserved leading the Premier League

      Senesi - 20% ownership
      Hill 8%
      Truffert 3%

Not likely to make much difference but I guess it depends on if you are chasing or not

I've got both in my WC, owned Senesi for most of the season

If you have to pick only one, go with Hill as he is hitting DC more consistently than Senesi currently

Wonder how Klopp is feeling. Probably would have two more league titles if he stayed two more years at Liverpool.

        I don't think it's luck
He's a very skilful manager in his first season
No hits a full 15 man rotational squad
        Still has BB,FH & TC

You still need to be lucky though. There’s so many managers who are brilliant at the game and clued in, you need a lot of luck to be number 1.
Being lucky doesn’t mean you’re aren’t a good manager either

    2. Jet5605

He's a mid table striker. Not good enough for teams competing for the league. Could see him at somewhere like Forest or Fulham.

I played Tavernier over Hill even though I was telling myself Hill is more likely to get DC and so would be locking in a better base point level

It's all about the DCs this season 😐

    1. thegaffer82
      • 14 Years

DCs have been a nice addition to the game. It’s brought so many more players into the game who’d usually be complete nothing picks. Hope they keep it!

Massive result for TC36. Possibly even WC35, City will still be in it unless something goes badly awry.

Right now that's over, let's focus on my FH33 draft. Early thoughts?

    Darlow
    O'Reilly - Senesi - Hill
    Semenyo - Palmer - Tav - GroB
    Haaland - Pedro - DCL

    Verbruggen - Enzo - Bijol - Cash

Agreed. Jimi is a class act.
It's amazing how elite clubs' scouting departments use so much sophisticated data analysis/modelling and yet anyone with half a brain can see Gyok isn't quick or dynamic enough to fit into that system with the likes of Saka & co.

Where's the next upset? Burnley to beat Brighton? Fulham to beat Liverpool?

Did not expect Mitoma to be benched. Might “waste” a FT to buy Hinshelwood as was my plan. Thought the Leader in my minileague would Wildcard and Pick him. He did not Wildcard :/

    1. Count of Monte Hristo
      • 13 Years

In my mind Gomez/Minteh/Mitoma were sharing the wide areas so it was boring Groß or Hinshelwood in the 10 the least rotated attacking options.

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

When Mitoma was fit it was often Minteh and Mitoma on the wings with Gomez in the 10.

There's always a chance they go back to that at some point.

I’d consider Scott instead of a Brighton player if you don’t already have 3. Brightons appeal was that they had Burnley this GW, but their DGW isn’t that great
