Sunday’s final match sees Chelsea take on Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Liam Rosenior makes two changes from the FA Cup win over Port Vale.

Marc Cucurella and Moises Caicedo come in for Tosin Adarabioyo and Romeo Lavia, who drop to the bench.

Jorrel Hato will presumably move to centre-back as a result.

Estevao, Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto and Joao Pedro make up the front four.

As expected, Enzo Fernandez is not available following public comments about his future at Chelsea.

As for Man City, they make just one alteration from the FA Cup: Gianluigi Donnarumma in for James Trafford in goal.

All the outfielders remain the same, with Antoine Semenyo, Rayan Cherki and Jeremy Doku supporting Erling Haaland up top.

LINE-UPS

Chelsea XI: Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Hato, Cucurella, Caicedo, Santos, Estevao, Palmer, Neto, J Pedro

Subs: Sharman-Lowe, Acheampong, Tosin, Sarr, Essugo, Lavia, Garnacho, Guiu, Delap

Palmer has gone in and out of my FH draft, because he's so bad this season, but also because he wants out of Chelsea it seems. Probably affected his performance lately.

    Spurs rant/

I accepted relegation was coming a long time ago. The warning signs have been obvious for ages. We finished 17th last season, lost Kane and Son, and didn’t properly replace either of them. That alone should’ve set alarm bells ringing.

Our transfer windows have been consistently poor. We either move too slowly, miss out on key targets, or obsess over “good deals” instead of actually improving the squad. The result? One of the weakest squads in the league.

We’ve got maybe 3 or 4 genuinely good players, and they’ve spent most of the season injured. The rest are either average at best or simply not good enough - players like Solanke and Richarlison should never have been signed in the first place. We paid 60mil for Solanke, let that sink in...

And then to top it all off, we sell Johnson. I get that fans are divided on him, but he was our top scorer last season, in a team that finished 17th, and we just let him go without replacing him? It makes no sense.

At some point, this goes beyond incompetence. You have to start asking whether the people running this club actually know what they’re doing, or if something deeper is going on behind the scenes, like corruption, or intentional sabotage.

We deserve relegation, and it will do us good in the long run. We will start a fresh and come back stronger. The only issue is we will be stuck with these owners for at least another 2 seasons.

Everton fan here I feel for you as we've come close in the last 2 or 3 seasons .
Poor manager choice has been an issue with Spurs
If you do go down what matters more is the response next season .

Nah, its not the Managers. No Manager can save us. We have had so many managers including serial winners. There is something rotten at the core of Spurs - the board and ownership, and it spreads its rot through everything it touches, like a virus. The club has a loser mentality, even at home we get spanked - there's no where to hide.

Teams like Everton are a great example of how things should be done. You don't have a superstar squad, you have just an average squad, but together, they come together and form something greater. Same with the likes of Brentford and countless others.

I'm not criticising the managers as Nuno & Frank are great managers
But were they the right fit for your club ?
Which ultimately means those who made the decisions to appoint them were at fault .

I honestly don't know what Manager is a good fit for this club other than Poch. We have tired everything, even had Conte and Jose. Conte said the truth about this club.

Not being funny but you were never going to find replacements for Kane and Son. They were absolutely diamonds in the rough, and players of that level don’t want to play for Spurs, especially with the relatively small wages you offer.

I do feel for you, the club’s been ran very poorly for a while now. That window under Poch said everything about the ownership’s intentions, and it feels like they’ve had no plan or direction ever since.

      1. have you seen cyan
        • 6 Years
        3 months, 5 days ago

Yea, how on earth can you replace Kane and Son. But our transfer windows are always a joke. We are a laughing stock. Take this season for example, MGW/NFO and Palace both mugged us off, and that's not even mentioning the other fact, that like you said, good players do not want to come here, and who can blame them.

You probably forgot, but I told you that Man U would do well this season. Well done.

It’s always going to be tough when you’re fishing in the same pond as the CL clubs, but not offering the same wages. Getting in nothing players like Gallagher and Palhinha is just so poor though.

I don’t remember that, but we only started doing well once Amorim was gone, so suppose we were both right in a way hahaha

            • 6 Years

Call me delusional, but I think we could have signed Mateta and Semenyo. A year or so ago. They might not have wanted to come here, but there was a chance to sign them before the big clubs were circling. What the Spurs board don't get however is that to get players of that quality, we need to pay over market value, not look for cheap deals. If it meant paying an extra 40 - 60 mil for Semenyo and Mateta combined, then so be it. If we get relegated, we will lose hundreds of millions - and these guys are meant to be shrewd business men.

Arsenal fan here. Spurs have also been incredibly unlucky this season with long term/serious injuries to key players. Incredibly frustrating. The firing of Ange was also insane: winning a major European trophy and Spurs first trophy since 2009? At least Spurs have had more success than Arsenal in the last five years.
