Manchester City sit top of the graphic this week. Pep Guardiola’s side are one of several teams with two fixtures, which our projections have taken into account. City face a tricky clash against title rivals, but they also come up against second-from-bottom Burnley.
Also playing twice, and sitting some way behind Manchester City, are Leeds United. Leeds have been in very good defensive form, keeping two clean sheets in their last three league matches. Meetings with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth should give them a good platform to build on that.
Completing the top three are Nottingham Forest. While Forest only play once in the upcoming round, they do face a poor Burnley side next. Forest have kept three clean sheets in their last six matches, so they head into this one looking fairly solid at the back.
The only other side that play once this week and still exceed 40% are Aston Villa. Unai Emery’s side have kept four clean sheets in their last eight matches, although they now face a Sunderland team coming into the game off the back of consecutive league wins.
Chelsea, Brighton and Bournemouth are three more sides who play twice and rank among the top eight. Chelsea face both Manchester United and Brighton, Brighton take on Chelsea and Spurs, while Bournemouth go head-to-head with Leeds and Newcastle.
