NOTES
- I’ll be using at least a couple of transfers this week to upgrade my back line. That includes a double-up on the Seattle pair, Andrew Thomas and Jackson Ragen. They have a strong run of fixtures ahead, starting with a trip to Sporting Kansas City.
- I’m also hoping Mbekezeli Mbokazi returns to the Chicago Fire starting XI. If he does, it gives me a route out of one of my LAFC defenders. Rotation there continues to be a real concern.
- Elsewhere, at least one of Hugo Cuypers and Anders Dreyer is likely to make way. Morgan Guilavogui, Petar Musa, and Prince Owusu are all in contention to replace them. I’m also considering a midfield switch, with Carles Gil firmly on the radar.

NOTES
- My goalkeepers will remain unchanged this week. No need to move there.
- In defence, I’m targeting a double Seattle setup. Andrew Thomas and Jackson Ragen come into focus against a poor Sporting Kansas City side. I’m also looking at Thiago Martins, who faces DC United without Tai Baribo, which boosts the appeal.
- In midfield, I may bring in Carles Gil. He should get plenty of chances at home against a depleted Charlotte defence. Albert Rusnák also remains a good option, but there is some doubt over his start after just returning from injury.
- Up top, I’m aiming to bring in Petar Musa. He faces one of the weakest defences in the league in New York Red Bulls, which makes the move very appealing.

NOTES
- Week 10 delivered 75 points and a small green arrow. I’ve decided to activate the Rebuild Squad chip for this first half of the season.
- There’s a change in goal. Andrew Thomas comes back in for Seattle. Hugo Lloris keeps his place after another clean sheet in Gameweek 10.
- In defence, I’ve made several moves. Tayvon Gray makes way after his red card and is replaced by Daniel Munie of San Jose. Kobe Franklin is out for Thiago Martins of New York City FC. Edier Ocampo is replaced by Anthony Markanich of Minnesota. Finally, Maya Yoshida drops out for Alex Roldán of Seattle Sounders. Mathías Laborda keeps his place.
- There’s one change in midfield. Carles Gil comes in for Niko Tsakiris. The rest stays the same, with Sebastian Berhalter, Guilherme, Nick Fernandez, and Rodrigo De Paul completing the unit.
- Up front, I’m going all in on San Jose. They’re in strong form. Paul Judd and Ousseni Bouda come in for Gabriel Pec and Anders Dreyer, who faces a tough fixture against LAFC. I did consider Timo Werner, but it looks like he’s picked up a hamstring injury in the Open Cup midweek.
- Lionel Messi keeps his place up top.
- Captaincy will start with Bouda or Judd, as they play first.

NOTES
- After a solid week and a rise up to 7th, the plan now is simple. Attack the best fixtures and back the strongest teams.
- The players making way are Martín Ojeda, Sebastian Berhalter, Mathías Laborda, Hugo Cuypers, and Tomas Chancalay. Coming in are Hany Mukhtar, Josh Sargent, Carles Gil, Paul Rothrock, and Jamar Ricketts. It might look unusual bringing in both Josh Sargent and Ricketts, but I expect Ricketts to feature on the left with Timo Werner injured. That game has real potential for goals.
- I’m also concerned about Vancouver’s schedule. Seven away matches in their next seven is far from ideal, so I’m moving away from their assets as well. The rest of the sales come down to poor fixtures, uncertain minutes, or simply better options being available.

NOTES
- In goal, I’m likely to stick with the Luka Gavran and Duran Ferree tandem this week, even though both have tougher fixtures. That said, Andrew Thomas and Cabral are in my thoughts if I decide to make a goalkeeper move.
- In defence, Tayvon Gray is suspended, so he’s definitely leaving the team. Mbekezeli Mbokazi is also a concern. He was benched in the league, although he did play 90 minutes in Chicago’s 2-1 loss to St. Louis in the US Open Cup. That puts his place under pressure.
- Midfield is likely to stay the same for now. Still, I’m tempted by both Facundo Torres and Nashville’s main man Hany Mukhtar. If I do make a move, Sebastian Berhalter is the most likely to make way.
- Up front, Lionel Messi leads the line once again. He’s also the standout captaincy option, with a favourable home fixture against an Orlando City side that has conceded 20 goals away from home.
