We’ll get the Gameweek 37 team news from 10 Premier League managers on Friday as the pre-match press conferences continue.

You can find all the key injury updates in this article, which will be refreshed throughout the day.

One of the head coaches facing the media is Pep Guardiola. Today’s presser is actually for Saturday’s FA Cup final; Manchester City’s Gameweek 37 fixture is not till next Tuesday.

Which brings us to Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur. Their managers won’t be facing reporters until Monday, well after the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline. We’ve rounded up what we know on the team news front for those two clubs in our predicted line-ups page.

For the headline news from Thursday’s eight pressers, check out this round-up here.

KEY GAMEWEEK 37 TEAM NEWS

FRIDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE TIMES

*Pep Guardiola’s press conference has been put back to 2pm

MANCHESTER CITY

Pep Guardiola provided the usual update on Rodri (groin) when asked about the midfielder’s availability for the FA Cup final.

“We’ll see. We’ll travel, and we’ll see.” – Pep Guardiola on if Rodri is available for the FA Cup final

Apart from that, though, City have no other fitness concerns ahead of the trip to Wembley.

“No, everybody [else] is fit.” – Pep Guardiola on if he had any other concerns

That’s reassuring news for owners of Nico O’Reilly, who was absent from the Manchester City squad for the midweek win over Crystal Palace.

As for the Gameweek 37 trip to Bournemouth, which takes place next Tuesday, Guardiola has put it to the back of his mind.

“Zero. It’s the final of the FA Cup.” – Pep Guardiola when asked if the upcoming trip to Bournemouth factored in his thoughts regarding his team selection this weekend

MANCHESTER UNITED

As expected, Casemiro is available for his final home match as a Manchester United player. The veteran Brazilian missed out in Gameweek 36 with a minor issue.

“Yeah, Cas is available. I can speak for, since I’ve been here and met him and worked with him, he’s been fantastic for us, for me personally, for us as a group, what he’s given us.

“I think the clarity helps, of knowing the situation, for him and for us, for him to get his head in a place where he can give absolutely everything.” – Michael Carrick on Casemiro

Benjamin Sesko (shin) is still not “100%”, however, and Matthijs de Ligt (back) will be out for the rest of the season.

“Ben’s not as straightforward as Cas is. He’s still not 100% with the problem that he had.

“Apart from that, we’re alright, really.” – Michael Carrick on Benjamin Sesko

Manuel Ugarte, who wasn’t mentioned by Carrick, has trained this week. He missed out last weekend, too.

NEWCASTLE UNITED

Despite needing treatment last Sunday, Lewis Hall has trained this week and is available for selection.

“Lewis is fine, he has trained this week. So, no problems with his fitness.” – Eddie Howe

Joelinton (thigh), however, is a fresh concern.

“We have a doubt over Joelinton, who has picked up a slight thigh problem. So, we’ll assess him in the next couple of days.

“I think we are okay apart from that.” – Eddie Howe

Lewis Miley (foot), Emil Krafth (knee), Tino Livramento (thigh) and Fabian Schar (ankle/foot) are all still unavailable.

“Of course, we’ve got the guys that are out. There is no change to their status.

“I don’t think [Fabian] will make the last two games, which is a real shame for Fabian. He was so close to returning a few weeks ago, and then, of course, he suffered the infection that he did. He is back running again and he is looking fit and healthy, but there is a big difference between that and actually playing.” – Eddie Howe

Eddie Howe gave another big hint that Anthony Gordon‘s future lies away from Tyneside – and that he’ll continue to warm the bench in the meantime.

“When you get to this stage of the season, part of what we will be doing is looking to next year, naturally. Anthony has just come back from injury, I think the team has played well in his absence… and with a partial view to the future, yes.” – Eddie Howe on whether Anthony Gordon’s omissions are influenced by a potential summer move away

LEEDS UNITED

Gabriel Gudmundsson (hamstring), Ilia Gruev (hamstring), Jayden Bogle (hamstring) and Noah Okafor (calf) remain out for the Whites.

Meanwhile, Pascal Struijk (hip) is yet to train this week and Ethan Ampadu is now a “major doubt” with an illness.

Loanee Facundo Buonanotte is also ineligible to face his parent club.

“It is bit of a tricky situation, perhaps the most difficult we have had during the whole season. We can do this with a smile because we have already achieved our big goal but of course, it’s not ideal.

“Illia Gruev is out for the season, we have spoken about this. Noah Okafor is not available for this game. Gabby Gudmundsson is not available for this game. Jayden Bogle is not available for this game. Facundo Buonanotte, not eligible to play.

“Then we have also Pascal Struijk, not in training yet after the last game. Big doubt if he’s available.

“Ethan Ampadu is struggling with illness currently, also a major doubt, was not in training today.

“So, we have a few question marks but so far we have always found some solutions to send a competitive side on the pitch and this is also what we will try to do in our last home game, to finish as strongly as possible.” – Daniel Farke

FULHAM

Joachim Andersen begins a three-match ban after his sending off last weekend. That suspension will creep over into Gameweek 1 of 2026/27, too.

Ryan Sessegnon (muscle) also remains out but Alex Iwobi (hamstring) is back in contention after returning to training this week.

“Alex is back in contention to the game. Last week, he did some training sessions with us. This week, throughout the week, he’s been working with ourselves. It’s been a good week for him.

“Joachim Andersen is going to be out, as you know. Sessegnon is still out. All the other players are going to be available for the game.” – Marco Silva

EVERTON

Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Jack Grealish (foot) remain sidelined for the Toffees, as does Idrissa Gana Gueye.

The Senegalese midfielder sat out the six-goal thriller with Manchester City with what was described as a “slight” injury, but he hasn’t featured since.

“Idrissa’s not fit for the game. Obviously, Jarrad Branthwaite is still out as well.

“[Gana] is back on the grass, he’s just not available for this game. There’s an outside chance that he could make Tottenham, so we’ll see how it goes.” – David Moyes

This will be Seamus Coleman‘s final home match for the Toffees. The veteran defender announced earlier today that he was calling time on his playing career with the club.

Don’t count on any sentimental minutes, however.

“Seamus wouldn’t want me to say that because he wouldn’t want me to think that way. He would only think it should be getting done if it’s right. That’s the way I see it, as well.” – David Moyes on the prospect of giving Seamus Coleman a farewell appearance

CRYSTAL PALACE

Evann Guessand (knee) is back in training and set to be involved, with the intention being for the Aston Villa loanee to get some fitness-boosting minutes before the UEFA Conference League final later this month.

Borna Sosa (unspecified) is likelier to return in Gameweek 38.

Eddie Nketiah (hamstring) and Cheick Doucoure (knee/muscle/match fitness) remain out but everyone else is fit.

“We will train just after the press conference, for the first time [since Man City]. The players had yesterday off.

“We hope that Evann Guessand returns to the squad for Sunday. Of course, he has to do both training sessions, but looks good.

“Borna Sosa is a bit more questionable, so [his absence] could last until Arsenal.

“But all others seem to be fine.” – Oliver Glasner

WEST HAM UNITED

Adama Traore (muscle) is the Hammers’ sole absentee for the trip to Newcastle United.

“We have Adama, who is out for this game, but the rest of the squad is good.

“It’s a muscular injury. He was not available for the match against Arsenal. He’s recovering but he’s going to be short for this one.” – Nuno Espirito Santo

SUNDERLAND

Dan Ballard continues to serve a three-match ban after his Gameweek 35 red card.

Other than Romaine Mundle (hamstring), whose season is over, Regis Le Bris said on Friday that Sunderland have a fully-fit squad.

Bertrand Traore (knee) returned to training last week and could be back in the matchday squad at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, having been overlooked in Gameweek 36.

“At the minute, we have a full group, so I had to make a decision last week.

“His trajectory was probably a bit different if you compare with Jocelin and Nilson, who were back [in the last two Gameweeks] as well. It was a re-injury for Bertrand, so probably I needed more time to be comfortable with his selection.

“I had this conversation with him yesterday, and I was clear and honest. This week, it was more consistent, I think. It’s not easy to manage a re-injury and it was a new injury for him as well. In a career, sometimes you have an ankle injury and then a re-injury, so you know exactly what is the timeline and so on. For him, with his knee, it was totally new. Because it was a re-injury, I think it was important to be a bit more cautious and this week was much, much better.” – Regis Le Bris on Bertrand Traore, via the Sunderland Echo

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Jose Sa (ankle) has returned to training this week and is available for selection.

And Ladislav Krejci (neck), an unused substitute last weekend, has likewise been on the grass since Gameweek 36.

Hugo Bueno is also fine after his substitution last weekend.

The only known absentee is Sam Johnstone (shoulder), although Rob Edwards did say that Wolves had a few “knocks” elsewhere.

    JP to
    A) Thiago (cover ML rival)
    B) Gyokeres

Heart says Gyokeres but head says Thiago.
I'm leading by 30 points which I want to cover.
If get iffy, A also give me the option to double up Arsenal defense in GW38 to cover up further.

I am exactly in the same boat.

Thiago covers and is most sensible - good fixture this week and not that bad next - but what if my rival goes for Gyokeres? This is what I'm stressing about.I need to get a life.

          I only have 1FT unfortunately.
Giving away -4 seems a risk.

I think they have 2FT and would have to use those to get Gyok in unless they take out Haaland.

My rival doesnt have Saka but may bring him in for a hit. He has no chips left.

I have TC and need to use it wisely...my options are:
    Saka (diffential at mo)
    Gabriel (he has him)
    Bruno (he has him)
Someone else i can transfer in?

For me, Option D provides two upgrades. If you knew Cherki would start then maybe not, but there's so much scope for him not playing I think I'd rather have Garner in my team.

If you need a single-week punt I would expect Casemiro to have a strong week. It's his last home match. Equally, Elliot Anderson is going to be keen to impress if he gets the chance. His two most likely destinations seem to both be in Manchester and this is a chance to remind everyone of his quality.

Joao Pedro to Gyokores is a £1.5m shortage. You need to free up money elsewhere. Can you do it by transferring Lacroix to Heaven (might play but will just be on your bench anyway) or Dorgu (more likely to play now Sesko is out, with a front three of Mbeumo, Amad and Cunha and the potential of Dorgu getting minutes up front)?

I'm currently 8 points behind my cash league rival and he will be captaining Gabriel with double Arsenal defence. He also has NOR, Bruno, Pedro and Haaland. Really struggling what to do and would appreciate some comments.

    My team is below:

    Verbruggen
    Gabreil NOR Van Hecke
    Hinshelwood Saka Semenyo Bruno
    Thiago Pedro Haaland

    Subs: Dub, Hill, Lacroix, Tav

    a) double up on the arsenal defence by doing Lacroix to Saliba and Semenyo to Bruno G
    b) Pedro and Lacroix to Gyk and Keane

    d) any other suggestions?

    A) Gross to KDH

3 FT, how does this look:

    Senesi -> Gabriel
    Palmer - > Trossard
    DCL - > Gyokeres?

    Gets me this team:

    2m itb

    Verbruggen
    Gab, O'reilly, Veltman
    Bruno, Hinselwood, Trossard, Semenyo
    J.Pedro, Haaland, Gyokeres.

Looks good. Trossard punt could pay off.

Why drop DCL over Pedro out of interest? Only asking as I have same decision.
