Gameweek 15 of MLS Fantasy is here, and once again, we’ve asked our experts to reveal the teams they’re backing ahead of the deadline.
In this article, several experienced managers share their current squads, along with their thinking around key decisions for the round.

NOTES
- Facundo Torres and Myrto Uzuni always looked like short-term one-week punts for Austin FC’s clash with Sporting Kansas City. I’ll now move both on for Rodrigo De Paul and Hugo Cuypers, who each head into much stronger fixtures on paper this round.
- Minutes remain a major concern for Diego Luna, who has played just 45 minutes across his last two matches and once again carries a question mark over his availability. Because of that, he also looks set to leave my squad. Cristian Espinoza stands out as one possible replacement, while Nashville SC’s new number seven has also produced stronger underlying numbers than Hany Mukhtar so far this season.
- At the back, Nathan Harriel failed to deliver in Round 13, so I’ll replace him with Micael. My final transfer remains undecided for now, although I currently plan to use it on either Anders Dreyer or Morrison Agyemang.

NOTES
- Week 14 delivered 97 points and a small red arrow, which drops me down to an overall rank of 143.
- There are no goalkeeper changes for me this week. Andrew Thomas keeps his place, while I’m also more than happy to hold onto Brian Schwake of Nashville SC.
- At the back, I’ve moved on from Silvan Hefti, with Mamadou Fofana of New England Revolution coming into the squad. Meanwhile, Maxwell Woledzi makes way for Colorado Rapids defender Lucas Herrington.
- The rest of the defence remains unchanged, with Mathías Laborda, Anthony Markanich, and Nouhou Tolo all keeping their places.
- There’s just one midfield change this round, as Facundo Torres drops out for Carles Gil.
- Joining him in midfield are Evander, Guilherme, Nico Fernández, and Rodrigo De Paul.
- Up front, I’m sticking with the in-form Martín Ojeda of Orlando City. Paul Judd also leaves the squad, making way for Austin FC forward Christian Ramirez.
- Meanwhile, Lionel Messi comfortably keeps his place once again after continuing to deliver strong returns almost every week.
- Captaincy will start on Christian Ramirez.

NOTES
- After a grey arrow last week, my focus now shifts towards preparing for the double gameweek immediately after the World Cup break. Planning ahead also gives me extra flexibility in case anything changes during the international period, while still allowing me to target the strongest players early.
- The first move I’ve already completed is bringing in Hany Mukhtar. His upcoming price rise played a big part in that decision, alongside a strong fixture this week and an appealing double gameweek straight after the break.
- The rest of my transfers will heavily target Vancouver Whitecaps assets. Defenders Mathías Laborda and Tristan Blackmon are both set to come into the back line, while Sebastian Berhalter also joins the squad after continuing his incredible run of returns. My final planned addition is Gabriel Pec, who not only has a decent fixture this week but also benefits from what looks like a very underrated double gameweek after the World Cup break.
- Several players now look set to leave the squad. David Schnegg did at least reward me with a goal last week after I needed a quick defensive replacement, but he’ll still likely move on. Manu Duah also looks expendable because of a difficult fixture this round and the lack of a double gameweek afterwards.
- In midfield, Diego Luna was a very disappointing transfer last week after failing to play a single minute, so he now looks destined for the exit as well.
- Up front, I’ll likely move on from Anders Dreyer for similar reasons to Duah, with both the fixture and lack of a double gameweek hurting his appeal. Meanwhile, Facundo Torres already became my first confirmed transfer out after another frustrating spell of reduced minutes combined with an underwhelming fixture this week.

NOTES
- My goalkeeper pairing will remain unchanged this week. I’m still happy with both options, so I don’t see enough upside in using a transfer there.
- At the back, Jackson Ragen does have two very appealing fixtures in the double gameweek after the World Cup break. However, because I currently plan to activate the Wildcard in Gameweek 16, I’ve instead decided to target the shorter-term upside of Timo Baumgartl.
- In midfield, Marcel Hartel comes in as another short-term punt. The final midfield spot still feels undecided for now, although I’m currently leaning towards Guilherme. That decision could still change later in the week depending on how things develop.
- Up front, both Hugo Cuypers and Diego Rossi come into the squad because of their favourable fixtures against Toronto FC and Atlanta United respectively. I expect both attackers to have very strong potential this round.
