Tattico Fantasy Serie A is now live for 2026/27, and we are delighted to announce that Fantasy Football Scout has partnered with the game for the new season.

So, how does it work? In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know, including squad selection, transfers, scoring and Tattico’s unique chips.

BUILDING YOUR SQUAD

Managers receive a £100m budget to build a 15-player squad consisting of:

  • Two goalkeepers
  • Five defenders
  • Five midfielders
  • Three forwards

You can select a maximum of three players from the same Serie A club.

Player prices can change throughout the season, too. When selling or buying a player, their current price determines how much money leaves or returns to your budget.

SELECTING YOUR STARTING XI

Tattico Fantasy Serie A

Each Gameweek, managers select 11 starters and arrange their four substitutes in priority order.

Your starting XI must contain exactly one goalkeeper, at least three defenders, at least three midfielders and at least one forward. You can also start a maximum of three forwards.

Automatic substitutions take care of any players who don’t feature. Tattico brings on the highest-priority substitute who played, providing the change keeps your formation valid.

Your substitute goalkeeper can only replace your starting goalkeeper.

CAPTAINCY

Managers select a captain and vice-captain for every Gameweek.

Your captain scores double points. If they don’t play, the vice-captain receives the multiplier instead.

The Tactical Overhaul chip provides the only exception. When that’s active, your captain scores their normal points rather than double.

WHAT GIVES TATTICO THE EDGE?

One of Tattico’s biggest strengths is how straightforward it is to manage.

You don’t need to make substitutions between matches or keep changing your captain as the weekend unfolds. Instead, you can set up your team before the deadline and let the Gameweek play out.

The scoring system is also easy to follow, while giving different types of players routes to points.

Full-backs, for example, can combine clean-sheet points with attacking returns. Meanwhile, forwards remain viable Fantasy options because goals continue to form a major part of the scoring system.

That balance should give managers plenty of different ways to build a successful squad without needing to constantly manage their team throughout the weekend.

HOW DOES THE SCORING WORK?

Every player who starts a match earns two points. Those who come off the bench receive one.

Goal points then depend on position. Goalkeepers receive eight, defenders six, midfielders five and forwards four.

Tattico Fantasy Serie A

Tattico also awards every player an additional point when their team wins.

Goalkeepers and defenders receive five points for a clean sheet, while midfielders earn one. However, goalkeepers and defenders must play the full match without conceding to qualify.

If a player receives both a yellow and red card in the same match, only the three-point deduction for the red card applies.

TRANSFERS

HOW DO THE CHIPS WORK?

Tattico gives managers four chips to use during the season: Tactical Overhaul, Underdog, Fortress and Total Football.

Each chip can be used once and applies to a single Gameweek. They offer different ways to attack the season, whether that means making unlimited transfers, backing low-owned differentials or targeting clean sheets and attacking returns from defenders.

The graphic above explains exactly how each chip works.

WHAT HAPPENS TO POSTPONED FIXTURES?

When Serie A postpones a match, Tattico moves it into a nearby Gameweek.

Usually, this will be the Gameweek immediately before the rearranged fixture takes place. However, depending on the calendar, Tattico can instead assign it to the following Gameweek.

Points from the rearranged match count towards its newly assigned Gameweek rather than the original one.

This can create a Double Gameweek. If a player features twice within the same Gameweek, Tattico combines the points they earn across both matches.

HOW DO LEAGUES WORK?

Every manager automatically enters the Overall League, with points accumulating from their first active Gameweek.

Joining after Gameweek 1 doesn’t completely rule out the chance of competing for honours, either.

Late entrants automatically join a Cohort League alongside managers who started during the same Gameweek window. Everyone in that league begins scoring from the same point.

Tattico also offers private leagues. Managers can create their own competition, share an invite link and join an unlimited number of private leagues.

Players begin contributing points from the Gameweek after joining, while league creators can also set a deadline for new entrants.

SUBSCRIPTION TIERS

Tattico Fantasy Serie A

Tattico Fantasy Serie A is free to play, so managers can build a team and compete on the global leaderboard without paying.

For those who want more, the Edge and Pro plans unlock additional tools and customisation, including analytics, live rank insights and league features.

The graphic below shows exactly what comes with each tier.

HOW ARE ASSISTS AWARDED?

Finally, Tattico uses its data provider to determine assists, goals, own goals and other match events.

This means Tattico doesn’t manually change individual decisions based on its own interpretation of an incident.

However, if the official Serie A data changes after a match, Tattico will review the relevant event. For example, this could happen if Serie A later adds or removes an assist, or credits a goal to a different player.

This can create a Double Gameweek. If a player features twice within the same Gameweek, Tattico combines the points they earn across both matches.

Article states 'Your squad's total value must stay within 100m'. Does that mean you have to sell player if your Serie A squads TV goes over 100m?

How does this look for a Haaland and Bruno GW1 BB team:

    Raya / Kinsky
    Hume / Gvardoil / Maguire / Mykolenko / Diop
    Bruno / Mbuemo / Gross / Tzolis / Sangare
    DCL / Pedro / Haaland

Anyone at risk of not starting GW1?

Good mate. Like the double United attack.

Do you think Tzolis will be nailed?

I think so for the first few games from what I understand Martinelli is competition but wont be available initially. I'm hoping this team has enough depth to stay competitive with non BB teams and means I don't have to worry about having a playing 15 until DGWs at the back end of the season.

So was set on NO Haaland with a week 3 restructure with 2FT's of Bruno + Gyokeres to Haaland + 4.5. However when its stated simple as this it doesnt look that huge upside going without Haaland :

    A) Maguire Bruno , Isak , Gyok (Capt week 1),

    B) Shaw Cunha DCL Haaland (c).

But then again Isak could go big weeks 1 -5 , Gyokeres i really like for week 1 only.

    Core besides

    BB1
    Ver Kink
White Calafiori Gvardiol O shea X
    Wirtz Semenyo mBeumo Gomez X
    Pedro X X

    A or B?

Excellent player, but will he get the minutes. Arsenal have a lot of options in attack.
