Making good Fantasy Premier League (FPL) decisions often means digging through lots of data.

Who has the strongest underlying numbers? Which players consistently rack up defensive contributions? When does an asset’s fixture run improve? And when two options look almost inseparable, which one should you actually pick?

Our brand-new FPL Stats Centre aims to make those decisions easier by bringing a huge amount of useful information together in one place.

Available to Chief Scout Members, managers can deep-dive into player and team statistics, analyse attacking and defensive numbers, compare assets and use our Rate My Team (RMT) projections to plan ahead.

Whether you’re searching for a differential, planning several Gameweeks ahead or simply trying to settle a difficult 50/50 decision, here are some of the ways our new-look FPL tools can help.

FPL Stats Centre

EXPLORE HUNDREDS OF FPL PLAYER STATS

At the heart of the new Stats Centre is our sortable player database.

Managers can analyse hundreds of FPL assets across five main categories: Overview, Attacking, Expected, Defending and Involvement.

That means you can quickly switch between different areas depending on what you’re looking for, rather than having to sift through one enormous table.

There are also filters for season, position and team, while different data types allow managers to change how the numbers are presented.

The Players, Per GW and Teams tabs offer further ways to explore the data, while an Advanced search provides even more control.

There is also a Watchlist, allowing managers to save interesting players and quickly return to them later.

RATE MY TEAM POINTS PROJECTIONS

Identifying a good FPL asset is only half the battle. Buying them at the right time can be just as important.

Our Rate My Team projected points can help managers identify upcoming fixture swings and see when a player’s prospects are expected to improve or decline.

It can also help spot differentials with high projected points!

There’s much, much more here, too, including an ‘explosive v reliable’ plot chart!

IDENTIFY STRONG FIXTURE RUNS

The Fixture Runs tools can therefore help highlight potential buying and selling opportunities before they become obvious.

If a player’s rolling projected-points average is about to rise significantly, for example, managers can potentially move early rather than waiting for the good fixtures – and potentially the FPL returns – to arrive.

Equally, a downturn in projected points could help identify the right time to move an asset on.

For anyone who likes planning transfers several Gameweeks in advance, rather than simply targeting the next fixture, there is plenty to explore.

FIND GOOD ROTATION PAIRINGS

Looking for rotating pairs? We’ve got just the thing!

From £4.5m defenders to cheap midfielders, our tool will help you find a dream pairing:

You can increase the Gameweek range, too, depending on your lookahead:

TURN DEFCON DATA INTO BETTER FPL PICKS

The new Stats Centre also allows managers to dig into defensive contributions.

As well as each player’s overall DefCon numbers, the defending section breaks down the individual actions behind them, including recoveries, tackles won, interceptions, clearances and blocks.

But managers wanting to take their research even further can head to our dedicated DefCon Centre.

There, Tom Hadley’s DefCon boards focus on one particularly important area: consistency, rather than simply volume.

The Hit List shows the share of matches in which players have cleared the relevant threshold, with a minimum-start filter and the option to view the numbers on a per-90 basis.

That can help distinguish between someone who racks up defensive actions in occasional bursts and a player who regularly puts themselves in contention for DefCon points.

The Form Five, meanwhile, focuses on each player’s last five matches played – not simply the last five Gameweeks.

That distinction means an injured or rested player is judged on the matches they actually featured in, providing a clearer indication of recent DefCon consistency.

MORE THAN JUST THE STATS CENTRE

The Stats Centre forms part of a much wider collection of FPL tools available to our subscribers.

Alongside the Stats Centre and DefCon Centre, managers can access RMT Projected Points, Fixture Runs, Rotations, Team Profiles, the Fixture Ticker, Draft Tool and Rate My Team.

That means the research doesn’t necessarily have to stop after identifying an interesting player.

You can dig into their statistics, assess their upcoming schedule, compare their projected points with another asset and consider how they fit into your wider squad plans.

Whether you’re making one transfer or plotting a Wildcard several Gameweeks in advance, the idea is simple: put more of the information needed to make an informed FPL decision within easy reach.

    Thoughts? BB1

    Lammens Kinsky
    Calafiori Palestra Vuskovic Muharemovic O'Nien
    Mbeumo Tzolis Wirtz Semenyo Schade
    Haaland Joao Pedro DCL

    1. Keep, gtg
    2. Downgrade defence and DCL to Isak
    3. Bruno and Isak over Haaland and Schade?
    4. Any improvements?

I would go Semenyo to Sangare/Ampadu and DCL to Isak.

But I like my BB midfielder to be a cheap defcon as a de-risking strategy

Perhaps change Palestra to Mosquera, but Arsenal's fixtures are not easy.

Like the Vuskovic / Muharemovic picks. I went Nico Williams as my 5.0 - looks like he's going to be used by Glasner in an advanced RB role ala Munoz.

I upgraded my 6.0 MF (be it Schade / Ndiaye / Le Fee) to Tzolis (6.5) - he's having an unbelievable preseason and looks nailed on the left side.

Though I see now you have him already.

No Bruno could be an issue, but I think he and Semenyo will have similar output this season, and it allows you an extra 4.0 to upgrade your DF/GK.

I really like your team, so could be it's GTG.

I don't understand the gw 2 wildcard. You have effectively just wildcarded! And you will have barely more information than now and 30 weeks before you can wildcard again

Sorry, that was on the assumption that you wildcard before the DGWs, which i appreciate is not a given but is probably the optimum strategy.

An analogous situation would be WC in GW19, BB in 20 and WC in 21. It just doesn't make sense to me

I see lots on the no-Haaland risk, but the no Bruno risk feels underdiscussed.

Realistically it wouldnt be surprising if he scores/assist against both promoted sides as a minimum.

I like it. Very similar to my team, with a few changes:

      Kinsky Steele
      Calafiori Nilliams Shaw Diop VEwick
      Bruno Mbeumo Wirtz Tzlois Gross
      Haaland JP DCL

I like the Szoboszlai pick, but Wirtz is playing almost as a second striker. I feel like he's going to have a lot of G/A this season, for only 7.5 more.

I had Le Fee, but upgraded him to Tzolis after downgrading Mosquera to Nico Williams.

I can't stand rotating keepers, so I stuck with Kinsky who is a bargain at 4.5.

His chances of being a regular starter this season look very good with one game a week, most weeks. His versatility across the RWB/MF positions helps those chances also.

I'd still imagine his chances of completing 90 mins regularly are still slim. I'd prepare for an early withdrawal more often than not, which may work for or against you.

I dunno hey, Saka looked very good to me in CS. Should have scored.
Surely wont get 90 mins vs COV, but then again 30 mins might be enough and saves a possible future trade - if he scores well wk 1 the WC's will come out early I reckon.

Latest draft, no early WC, what do you reckon?

    Lammens (4.0)
    Gab VvD Muharemovic Vuskovic (4.0)
    Bruno Ndiaye Anderson Gross (5.0)
    Haaland JP (4.5)

Your midfield is extremely light. I would focus on some Defcon defenders at cheaper price and enhance the midfield

I was thinking VvD over Szoboszlai, but maybe VvD to Ballard and upgrade a mid.

Are you seriously considering 3 midfielders at £5m? That’s crazy, can we have more context to the question

No, just has to play first 3 weeks.

B but Saka might not start, have someone else as a placeholder for when you know he is 100% back

I just don't think O'Reilly is worth it, get a cheaper 5.0 defcon beast and upgrade Ndiaye.

    Debating Haaland - No Haaland

So the changes in the team are:

    A) Gabriel, Isak, Watkins (£4m in the bank - semi held to upgrade Mbuemo to Bruno once he goes back to midfield)
    B) Moquera, Haaland, Brobbey (£2m in the bank)

    What do we think?

Don’t go no Haaland. I love people going no Haaland. When he bangs a brace GW1 every man and his dog will rip their teams up to get him in. The guy is proven year in year out. Don’t let 1 pre season game in the charity shield change your opinion
