    Finding defence the toughest decision:
    Califiori Shaw Diop X X
    A) White and Rodon
    B) N.Williams and Muharemovic

I’m currently on Shaw, mainly because I’m having to scrimp. What’s your thoughts on him?

      2. Tempted also, replace with Ajer… but then get Maguire

Wow, just seen his last 4 seasons' worth of data - never dropping below 142 points, career high of 188 points from last season, averaging 157.25 points over those 4 seasons is genuinely elite-level returns. Do you think he's a better pick than Morgan Rogers then?!

Any Coventry fans know if Yirenkyi is nailed? I need a 5.0 mid just for BB2.

Should get good minutes until Bradley is back. Better options at that price though with a few Arsenal options to choose from. VVD/Jacquet probably the ones to get from pool. So in conclusion, not a bad pick at all but depends on what the rest of the defence looks like

    4. Dutchy FPL
      • 3 Years

Nahh. For that price I think you need meer than his assist threat. He has no Defcon potential, Liverpool is a wait and see defensively, and last years he is not really a goal scorer. Better Defcon and attacking options at 5M, which saves you the 0.5 (N. Williams, Maguire, Vuskovic, Muharemovic) and at 5.5M also better options (Calafiori, White, maybe even Collins, and longer term Porro and Munoz)

I won't have him but I really like him as a differential pick
Since he came back last season he was involved in 71% of Arsenal's big chances when on the field and 50% of goal scored

      1. Orion

Suzuki is genuinely an AWFUL pick, Aston Villa have been decimated this year mate. Trafford, Lammens, Roefs, Kelleher all much better options at the £5.0m price point this season.

Isn't White a safer pick than Calafiori? Timber still has a few more weeks and Calafiori needs to compete with Hincapie

    1. Could be. Both decent picks but with some risk. I think people see cala as higher upside

    2. RashFraud
      • 9 Years

Agreed. Don’t think White loses out to Mosquera or Konsa until Timber’s back. Calafiori is more attacking and Hincapie could come in at any time without warning but seems to be first choice so should be fairly nailed until Europe starts

    3. el polako
      • 9 Years

I think White will be replaced by Konsa.
This will allow Calafiori to roam free upfront whilst Konsa stays to form 3 defenders wall.

  15. Last minute indecision over BB. Which is best:

    Gw1
    Diop
    Hume
    Gross

    GW2
    Double Cov def
    Le Fee

    1. ididnt
      • 15 Years

      first

  16. On BB1 but tempted to drop 2nd keeper down to a 4 million fodder. Reckon the extra .5 will be better used in my team rather than rotting on the bench. Gives me Maguire over Shaw, will play 4 times for me before WC6, probably gets more additional points in those 4 weeks than Verb's 2 pointer this week.

    Or is this madness?

    1. I think for BB you want the playing GK

Arsenal: "Since the start of 2023/24, we have won 17 of our 18 Premier League games against promoted sides, with the exception of a 2-2 draw at Sunderland last season. At home, we are unbeaten in 45 Premier League home games against promoted sides, the longest such run by any team in the competition’s history (W40 D5)."
