NOTES
- I made a few late changes to the Wildcard I presented for Gameweek 18, with Sondre Sørli coming in as a one-week punt before an intended move to Ole Didrik Blomberg. That was still the plan until Saturday’s matches were postponed. Bodø/Glimt v Rosenborg now opens Gameweek 19, meaning we’ll see Bodø/Glimt’s line-up before the deadline in both Gameweeks 19 and 20. That has left me considering two different routes.
- Whichever option I choose, I expect to use two free transfers to sell Sørli and Frederik Elkær, unless we get strong indications that the latter starts. His minutes concern me after playing 120 minutes in Thursday’s Europa League qualifier. I was initially more worried about Isak Dahlqvist, but Leo Cornic now looks set to leave, which should make Dahlqvist a safer option.
- The first route is to stick with my original plan and move Sørli to Blomberg. If I do that, Elkær will probably become Gianni Stensness, who is the only Viking defender I can afford.
- Alternatively, I could bring in Eirik Hestad for Sørli. I considered Hestad on my Gameweek 18 Wildcard even before seeing him take Molde’s penalty against Tromsø. That move would free up enough money to upgrade Elkær to Fredrik André Bjørkan.
- Bjørkan has been rested for Isak Dybvik Määttä several times this season, but I’d have no hesitation owning him if his minutes were secure. Getting Bodø/Glimt’s next two line-ups makes him an exciting short-term option, although relying on him longer term would still carry plenty of risk.
- The transfers remain undecided, but there’s no doubt over captaincy. With Viking hosting Aalesund, Zlatko Tripić gets the armband.

NOTES
- This week, the plan is to sell Sondre Sørli for Ole Didrik Blomberg once we get the Bodø/Glimt line-up. Unfortunately, Haitam Aleesami, who only joined my squad last week, picked up an injury in the European qualifiers and will be out for a while.
- I’m planning to sell him for Adrian Pereira next week. The timing isn’t ideal, with Pereira facing Bodø/Glimt away this week.
- Instead, Marcus Haagensen Reed will come into my starting XI. Zlatko Tripić takes the captaincy once again. That decision feels fairly self-explanatory at this point. Good luck, everyone. Sunday’s matches should be fun!

NOTES
- Before getting into my team, King Harald V sadly passed away on Friday morning. As a result, all Eliteserien matches have been moved to Sunday, with the deadline now at 13:25 BST.
- I’ve made three transfers this week. Eirik Hestad makes way for Ole Didrik Blomberg, while Naess Alvheim and Martin Gjone are downgraded to the cheapest forward and defender in the game to fund the move. Bodø/Glimt are the most in-form team in Eliteserien, so I think a triple-up is essential. Having banked three free transfers, this feels like the right time to bring in Blomberg. Following Kasper Høgh’s departure, Blomberg looks capable of becoming one of their main goalscorers. He has also produced one goal and two assists across his last three matches.
