Gameweek 2 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) concludes with Aston Villa v Arsenal.

Kick-off at Villa Park is at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Mikel Arteta sticks with the same team that defeated Coventry City on the opening day .

That means that Ezri Konsa is only on the Gunners’ bench as he makes a matchday squad for the first time since his transfer from tonight’s hosts.

Also among the Arsenal substitutes is the fit-again Bruno Guimaraes.

As for the Villans, there are two changes from their 4-0 pasting by Brighton and Hove Albion.

They hand full debuts to two of their summer captures, goalkeeper Zion Suzuki and striker Nicolas Jackson.

Joao Gomes is suspended, while Marco Bizot drops to the bench.

LINE-UPS

Aston Villa XI: Suzuki, Cash, Lindelof, Torres, Maatsen, McGinn, Kamara, Buendia, Hemmings, Barkley, Jackson.

Subs: Bizot, Mings, Ruggeri, Garnacho, Abraham, Bogarde, Wan-Bissaka, Alysson, Lynch.

Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Saka, Tzolis, Odegaard, Havertz.

Subs: Kepa, Hincapie, Eze, Gyokeres, Konsa, Madueke, Merino, Zubimendi, Guimaraes.

I’ve got Haaland, Cherki and Ndiaye, who’s apparently about to join City.

I was planning on ditching Maguire this week for a tbd City defender. Do I do it now, before Ndiaye becomes my 3rd City player?

If you want 3 city playing this gw. Ndiaye might get some minutes off the bench.

Having four city will force your hand at your next transfer. One will have to go before you do anything else.

If Mosquera is injured, it kind of ruins FPL this season (without sounding dramatic).
Would be nice if we had a year where patient FPL managers are rewarded.
The luck for the early wildcarders is insane

He looked like he was walking fine by the time he actually left the field. Wouldn’t be surprised if we hear nothing about him because he’s actually fine and it’ll be a nail biter for owners who will start next game

        Maybe.

Problem is.. you want Bruno, You want Haaland, You want Palmer, You want Saka.

You can't have them all (unless the rest of your team is godawful). I probably wouldn't go Saka at least yet.

Looked like he was injured, and Arteta got the sub ready and brought Konsa on. But I swear Mosquera looked fine as he walked off the pitch. Not so much as a limp

LOL that is absurd. Propaganda nonsense. Havertz had a lower conversion rate last season and has had a very low conversion rate his whole career.
