The penultimate Premier League fixture of the day sees Tottenham Hotspur entertain Everton.

Kick-off in north London is at 17:30 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are out through injury as Roberto De Zerbi is forced into two changes at full-back. Andrew Robertson and Archie Gray come in.

There are two unenforced changes for the hosts, too, as Mateus Fernandes and Dominic Solanke oust Conor Gallagher and Mathys Tel from the side.

James Maddison is among the Lilywhites’ substitutes on his return from injury.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles for Merlin Rohl is David Moyes’ only alteration from last weekend.

Jack Grealish has to content himself with a place among the substitutes again, then.

LINE-UPS

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Kinsky, Gray, Van de Ven, Van Hecke, Robertson, Tonali, Bentancur, Fernandes, Savio, Solanke, Marmoush.

Subs: Dubravka, Adarabioyo, Senesi, Gallagher, Maddison, Tel, Bergvall, Kudus, Davies.

Everton XI: Pickford, Maitland-Niles, Tarkowski, Brathwaite, Mykolenko, Armstrong, Garner, Johnson, Dewsbury-Hall, George, Barry.

Subs: Travers, King, Keane, Grealish, O’Brien, Dibling, Alcaraz, Hackney, Graham.

Rogers, MGW, Mbeumo. Tons of great options, take your pick.

Maybe even Jimmy Garner if he takes a pen today 😉

I'm amazed how much love Sangare is (quite rightly) getting, but how much Janelt is being overlooked! Only 5.0, and more defcon than Sangare. He got 20 today, and 13,10 and 12 in the last 3. (And a couple of goals too)

What exactly was the thought process and rationale for those using the TC chip on Palmer today? Seems a very strange use of the TC chip. Why would you not save it for a team who have been conceding left, right and centre like Palace or Ipswich? Hull haven't shown so far that they are a team to target the TC chip with. Very odd decision making.

    1. x.jim.x
      • 11 Years
      1 day, 3 hours ago

A team scoring for fun playing a promoted team at home… I didn’t do it but I get it. Palmer scores that FK at the end and it’s “should have played TC, it was so obvious blah blah”

      1. gooberman
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 14 Years
        1 day, 3 hours ago

Just because they are a promoted team doesn't automatically mean they are a team to target with the TC. The evidence so far suggests that there are other teams much easier to score against. Chelsea created an xG of only 0.89.

        1. x.jim.x
          • 11 Years
          1 day, 3 hours ago

There’s not much evidence after 3 games, one of them being against another Championship team.

Chelsea should have scored at least 3 today, plus that FK, and could have had a pen. Like I said, it could very easily have been a haul.

          1. gooberman
            • Fantasy Football Scout Member
            • 14 Years
            1 day, 3 hours ago

The xG stats suggest Chelsea would have been very lucky to have scored 3. I'm not necessarily talking about the outcome anyway, more the decision itself and the thought process and logic behind it.

Yes 3 games is a small sample but that is the evidence we have so far. So many are using chips far too early when we don't have enough data. We will have a clearer picture after 10 gameweeks of who the whipping boys are for the TC chip and indeed the other chips.

              • 11 Years

They scored 2 and Rogers should have buried a 1v1 - xG stats are not a replacement for “should have scored”
