Coventry City take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the first of two Premier League matches to take place this Sunday.

Kick-off at the CBS Arena is at 14:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

The team news is as straightforward as it comes: both sides are unchanged.

Taiwo Awoniyi leads the line again for the hosts, with Ellis Simms absent from the matchday squad.

Just two Coventry players are owned by more than 5% of Fantasy managers: Milan van Ewijk and Bobby Thomas.

They both start, as Frank Lampard continues with last week’s formation shift to a 3-4-3.

As for Brighton, new boy Femi Azeez and Georginio Rutter both miss out, even though Fabian Hurzeler provided encouraging updates in his press conference on Friday.

The most popular picks from Albion, Bart Verbruggen, the ‘out-of-position’ Maxim De Cuyper and Pascal Gross, are all in the starting line-up.

LINE-UPS

Coventry City XI: Rushworth, Amenda, Thomas, Pinnock, van Ewijk, Onyeka, Grimes, Dasilva, Rudoni, Mason-Clark, Awoniyi

Subs: Bentley, Sakamoto, Yirenkyi, Mfuni, Tchaouna, Thomas-Asante, Torp, Hamer, Cherif

Brighton and Hove Albion XI: Verbruggen, Kadioglu, Vuskovic, Dunk, Boscagli, Ayari, Gross, Gomez, Yalcouye, De Cuyper, Kostoulas

Subs: Steele, Hadjam, Struijk, Promise, Chema, Osman, Costinha, O’Riley, Osman

Probably not enough for rank gain

I've got Bruno, Mbeumo, Semenyo and Gvardiol plus Ndiaye first sub

See how that works out in the wash

        Probably mixed!

I just saw the "penalty" that got called on Konsa at Sunderland. In what sane world can that have been given? Ballard grabbed Konsa and dragged him down. It's very obvious even in one viewing. That is one of the most scandalous decisions I've ever seen. And I'm not an Arsenal fan and I have Raya so it actually benefitted me but come on, that's crazy. People need firing after that or at least there should be some sort of investigation. Has Howard Webb come out and apologised yet?

Tbf, I've not seen the same scrutiny on it but the Arsenal one that Saka converted late on looked soft too.

It looked more of a free kick. He was grabbing his shirt outside the box but didn't seem to do much apart from that.

this is gonna sound harsh and agree it wasnt a pen but

arsenal play with fire every time they defend/attack set pieces, not surprised if they get burnt every now and again with the new rules

just even remembering that disallowed west ham goal back end of last season when there was about 3 arsenal players not looking at the ball and wrestling their opposite numbers. its ridiculous

New rules this season especially in set piece situation. Holding offence.
The referee’s call of penalty to Sunderland for a holding offence by Konsa on Ballard was checked and confirmed by VAR.

REF: “He’s all over him at the near post facing the wrong way”.

VAR: “I’m happy that it’s a holding offence. The foul is confirmed. Confirming the on-field decision of penalty”.

They're being super careful with Sesko after his injury. It does seem a bit over-cautious.

I guess they want Rashford's pace in behind. Local lad too.
