Leeds v Newcastle team news: Dedic fit, Fernandez-Pardo starts

Gameweek 4 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) concludes this evening with Leeds United v Newcastle United.

Kick-off is at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

After making a raft of changes for the EFL Cup tie against Chelsea in midweek, Daniel Farke reverts to the side he sent out in Gameweek 3.

As for Newcastle head coach Matthias Jaissle, he makes two changes from his team’s last Premier League game.

Mathias Fernandez-Pardo gets his first Newcastle start, while Jacob Murphy comes in on the right flank.

Joe Willock drops to the bench, while Anthony Elanga is absent.

Amar Dedic is fit enough to start at right-back.

    While hating this DCL haul, let me go back to my GW5 dilemma:

    Kinsky
    Calafiori / De Cuyper / Shaw
    Palmer / Cherki / Szoboszlai / Tzolis / Groß
    Haaland (C) / João Pedro

    Bench: Verbruggen / Brobbey / Van Ewijk / Hume
    1 FT, £2.7m ITB, FH + WC intact.

    A) Roll the FT and ride out the awkward Arsenal/Brighton-heavy GW5, then target Saka in GW6?
    B) Fix the defence now by selling non-starting Hume for Konsa / Gvardiol / Nunes / Hall / Egan?

    Konsa is ideal long-term but means double Arsenal defence vs Brighton. Using the FT now could also delay Saka. What would you do?

      A lot will depend on where you ranked before (assume quite high given that my safety score is 91 and was 8k OR to begin this gameweek). Basically there will be a small number who owned at least two of Gross, De Cuyper, Raya, and had JP captain, and because we are so early on in the season even 20 points can be like 1m difference

      If Calvert Lewin took the shot (header) then as long as it was on target, then surely it's his goal, regardless of whether Bogle touched it.. Unless they are saying Calvert Lewin didn't touch it
