The Türkiye Fantasy season moves into Matchday 7, with the opening six rounds already giving managers plenty to think about.

The international break is finally over, and we’re back for Gameweek 7! I’ve really missed club football, especially after a horrible international break for Türkiye. The less said about that, the better!
Rotation could cause a few problems this week. Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor all have European commitments to consider, while several players have returned late from international duty.
TEAM REVEAL

GALATASARAY V KASIMPAŞA
Galatasaray are one of the strongest favourites this week, although their upcoming European fixture could lead to early substitutions.
Rafael Leão and Yunus Akgün look like the safest attacking picks. Victor Osimhen has returned to team training and could feature, but I don’t expect him to start.
Roland Sallai also looks unlikely to start after suffering an injury on international duty. Meanwhile, Davinson Sánchez could drop to the bench after returning late from Colombia.
I fancy Kasımpaşa to score, but Galatasaray should have enough attacking quality to outscore them.
BEŞIKTAŞ V KOCAELISPOR
Beşiktaş are another team I’m targeting, particularly after their disappointing defeat to Amedspor handed their opponents the league lead.
They’ll want an immediate response against Kocaelispor, although their upcoming match against Hoffenheim could influence team selection.
Dušan Vlahović is fit and should start, while Leandro Trossard also looks likely to feature.
Kocaelispor don’t concede many goals, but they struggle to score themselves. That makes Beşiktaş’s defence worth considering, potentially even for a triple-up.
I’ve gone with Amir Murillo and Vlahović for now, although Alexander Nübel is giving me something to think about.
RIZESPOR V FENERBAHÇE
Fenerbahçe were the biggest winners of the previous Gameweek, with Vedat Muriqi delivering a huge haul. Their attack has impressed throughout the season.
Rizespor away isn’t straightforward, though. They’ve caused problems for bigger clubs before, and Ali Sowe has a good record against Fenerbahçe.
I’d still favour Fenerbahçe’s attackers. Archie Brown also interests me, more for his attacking potential than his clean-sheet prospects.
Marco Asensio is fit and could return to the starting XI. He also has excellent memories of facing Rizespor, having previously registered two goals and an assist against them.
TRABZONSPOR V SAMSUNSPOR
Mohamed Salah. That should tell you everything about my main Trabzonspor recommendation this week!
This will also be an emotional fixture for Trabzonspor coach Thomas Reis, who previously managed Samsunspor.
Samsunspor have struggled, but they can still surprise opponents. I’m not convinced Trabzonspor will keep a clean sheet, particularly while they wait for important players to return.
Further forward, Aral Şimşir and Ernest Muçi also deserve consideration. However, doubling up on their midfield might be a little too much.
ALANYASPOR V ERZURUMSPOR
Alanyaspor are slight favourites here, although I wouldn’t expect a high-scoring match. Erzurumspor won their last league game, but a 1-1 draw wouldn’t surprise me.
I don’t see any standout attacking picks from Alanyaspor, so I’d focus on their defence instead.
Florent Hadërgjonaj is my preferred option thanks to his set-piece involvement. Their goalkeeper could also offer value this week.
GÖZTEPE V EYÜPSPOR
Göztepe have struggled defensively, but their attacking players continue to create opportunities.
Juan Santos da Silva, better known as Juan, leads their attack and could be a surprise pick against an Eyüpspor side that has struggled badly.
The full-backs also interest me. Arda Kurtulan and Richard Akonnor offer attacking potential from defence, while Rhaldney Gomes provides another midfield option.
AMEDSPOR V GENÇLERBIRLIĞI
Amedspor will want to continue their excellent run, and Gift Orban has been one of the biggest surprises of the season.
He leads the goalscoring charts and has another promising fixture against Gençlerbirliği, who have allowed plenty of chances.
Goalkeeper İrfan Eğribayat has helped Gençlerbirliği keep the goals conceded down, but I still expect Orban to get opportunities. This could be a really entertaining match.
GAZIANTEP FK V ÇORUMSPOR
Çorumspor’s attackers have enjoyed an excellent start, but their defence hasn’t matched those performances.
Gaziantep FK have looked much better defensively, so I’d limit my Çorumspor picks to one of Kryzidis or Jesús Ramírez.
I fancy Gaziantep to win this one. Alexandru Maxim, Kacper Kozłowski and Deian Sorescu all deserve consideration, particularly Sorescu, who has impressed in an out-of-position role.
KONYASPOR V İSTANBUL BAŞAKŞEHIR
I wouldn’t recommend many players from this fixture. If you’re determined to target it, I’d stick to defensive options.
These two sides previously produced one of the dullest matches I’ve watched, combining for just 0.05 xG and five shots.
If you want to put yourself through that again, be my guest!
CAPTAINCY AND CHIPS
Captaincy could make a huge difference again this week, and I’ve narrowed my shortlist to five players.
Mason Greenwood and Muriqi are the Fenerbahçe options, while Vlahović looks particularly appealing at home to Kocaelispor.
Salah also deserves serious consideration against Samsunspor, and Orban’s goalscoring form makes him difficult to ignore.
As for chips, this could be a good week to use Bench Boost. I can see plenty of players delivering points, so fielding all 15 could work nicely.
MINI LEAGUE 2
Our second mini league starts in Gameweek 8, with some big prizes available!
Whether you’re returning for another attempt or joining for the first time, you’ll have another chance to compete against other managers.
I’d recommend saving your chips for the new league. Don’t forget to use our fixture ticker when planning your team, either.
Good luck, everyone! Hopefully, we can enjoy some football again after that three-week break.
