In their first match since the guilty verdict on their financial misconduct charges, Manchester City take on Liverpool at Anfield.

Prior to the international break, Enzo Maresca’s men secured a 5-3 win over Sunderland, a result that preserved their perfect start to the season.

Liverpool remain unbeaten, too, but have won only two of their first five matches, drawing the other three.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola makes three changes from Gameweek 5.

Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak miss out due to injury.

Szoboszlai has reportedly picked up a hamstring issue.

Ryan Gravenberch, Victor Munoz and Lewis Koumas come into the side.

As for Man City, Nico O’Reilly is in for Josko Gvardiol, who drops to the bench.

Antoine Semenyo is fit to start, despite his exit from the Ghana squad over the international break.

Phil Foden remains suspended.

Albeit being an IMPACT sub today - is Mohamed Belloumi the best replacement for Schade given their next few fixtures?

    Need a differential

    Belloumi or Manzambi

    THANKS

Nowt. I have a team value of 102.1 with NOTHING to improve other players.

I could take a 4point hit and get Isak/Scade out - maybe bring in Palmer and a 6ish million forward. I'm doing desperately bad.

I NEED HELP choosing a mid - I seem to have the best already Rogers, Gross, Saka, King.

WHO WOULD YOU GUYS BRING IN FOR SCHADE?> HELP

Rogers or Semenyo for next game only as part of BB?

Even the Liverpool coach is tired of Szoboslob

    - not nailed
    - backup defensive mid
    - not DeF Con
    - no pens

This is the most expensive Ngolo Kante ever

Those with MGW, are you playing him against Arsenal?

If I bring in DeCuyper I’d have to bench either MGW or Muharemovic, or play a 442 with MGW benched

I think MGW is a classic double digit asset for the games against big teams. Was about to sell him but when I realised next up Arsenal I decided to keep for one more week!

De Cuyter and Gross are basically essential until their purple patch ends.

Going to bring them both in, doesn't matter if they stop scoring, everyone will own them soon so you either get their points or no one gets any points and your other players are the difference makers.

Incredibly annoying not to have owned them so far though

    1. RICICLE
      • 4 Years

Agreed, really missed a trick with both this season, got Gross now but De Cuyper I feel is a cheat code right now no matter the opposition

      That's the question

He was able to play a few minutes of the 2nd half

Means he's a tough lad and/or the collarbone not broken.

His flag is still just Yellow

American football players usually pop the shoulder back-in and play-on - but in football a player can sub Off and On continuously, the whole game.
