Gameweek 10 of Tattico Fantasy Serie A is here, with managers facing another round of decisions ahead of the deadline.

Our expert managers reveal their latest teams and talk through their plans, including transfers, chip decisions and captaincy.

@TheCrisk

  • I’ve got two free transfers in the bank, and I’m planning to use both to target favourable fixtures over the coming weeks. Doubling up on Inter’s defence has been a disaster in every respect, so I’m ready to try my luck with Roma instead. Mario Hermoso looks well-rested and will come in for Alessandro Bastoni.
  • In midfield, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp has done as much as I could reasonably expect from him. However, with Udinese struggling badly, I want someone more reliable. Adrien Rabiot, who is returning from injury, is my leading candidate. I’m also monitoring Andy Diouf and several Lazio options, including Mattia Zaccagni, Gustav Isaksen and Tijjani Noslin. However, Milan’s November fixtures look more appealing to me, which gives Rabiot the edge.
  • Captaincy goes to Nicolás Paz, who faces bottom-of-the-table Venezia. It’s an excellent opportunity for the Como midfielder to deliver another big return.

  • I’m currently sitting 12th in the world heading into Gameweek 10, so I’m hoping to maintain that strong position this week.
  • In goal, I’m starting Christos Mandas, who faces Cagliari at home. Edoardo Corvi may have lost his starting place at Parma, but I don’t feel the need to use a transfer on my backup goalkeeper just yet.
  • Defence looks a little weak this week, with all five of my defenders involved in either Juventus v Napoli or the Milan derby. I’ll definitely make a transfer here, targeting Roma’s favourable upcoming fixtures. I’d ideally like to double up on their defence, but Gian Piero Gasperini’s rotation makes that difficult. Wesley França is my preferred option after getting a rest in midweek, while his attacking potential adds to the appeal. The bigger decision is who to sell. I’m currently leaning towards Giovanni Di Lorenzo because of Napoli’s fixtures, although Jhon Lucumí and Federico Dimarco are also under consideration.
  • In midfield, I’ve got four solid options with home fixtures. Nicolás Paz has been in excellent form, while Mattia Zaccagni and Lazio have also impressed recently. That gives me confidence in doubling up on their midfield with Davide Frattesi. Éderson completes my midfield, with his penalty duties making him an appealing option at home to Parma.
  • My attack remains unchanged, with Donyell Malen and Marcus Thuram leading the line. Malen currently has the captain’s armband after starting on the bench in midweek. That should improve his chances of starting against a struggling Udinese side.
  • To summarise, I’m likely to sell Di Lorenzo for Wesley and captain Malen. Good luck, everyone!

  • My team avoided most of the rotation that affected plenty of Fantasy managers last week. Even from my bench, Gustavo Varela continued to show he can score against anyone, finding the net against Napoli in Gameweek 9. I’m planning to roll my transfer again, which would leave me with five free transfers after the international break.
  • In goal, I’m starting Christos Mandas, with Elia Caprile providing backup.
  • My defence consists of Amir Rrahmani, Bremer, Nuno Tavares and Federico Dimarco. Mario Gila remains on the bench after picking up a knock, and I’ll reassess his fitness following the international break.
  • In midfield, I’m starting Nicolás Paz, Mattia Zaccagni and Giacomo Calò. Meanwhile, Franco Mastantuono and Andy Diouf will have to settle for places on the bench.
  • I’m starting all three forwards this week, with Marcus Thuram, Donyell Malen and Varela leading the line. Varela’s goal against Napoli gives me even more confidence in his ability to deliver against difficult opponents.
  • Paz takes the captain’s armband as he begins to rediscover the form we’ve come to expect from him. Varela will be my vice-captain.
