After revealing that one of our members, Simon March, walked away with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) crown, we’re also delighted to announce that Geoff Pryor has emerged triumphant in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game.

Geoff’s team, “Right Doesn’t Know”, finished 30 points ahead of his nearest challenger and wins him a cool £30,000 for a season’s work. As evidenced by his performances in the Sun Dream Team game last season, when he finished fifth overall, Geoff clearly is something of an all-round Fantasy Football expert.

Fantasy Football Scout supplied three of the top five managers for the Sky game. Katie Burgin took fourth spot on 2440 points, whilst John Eaton finished in fifth on 2432 points. Katie and John earn £1,000 and £500 from Sky for their performances.

Thanks to their endeavours, we successfully defended our crown in the “League of Leagues”, which comes with a £2,500 prize – the top five managers in the FFScout league will receive £500 apiece as a reward.

Our FFS Contributors and Moderators league will be hoping to challenge for the title next year after finishing tenth this time out, with our resident Sky expert Disable and myself earning a place in the top 100 overall.

Look out for an interview with Geoff later in the week as he discusses his successful campaign.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Yes, well done to Geoff. Won it by some margin too.

The Sky Sports game is quite a mission, with midweek captain transfers and needing to get your head round the fixture list. I managed 24th this season, which came as a big surprise to me, as it needs full-on commitment (much more than I can give to fantasy football), so congrats to him. Fantastic prize too… £30,000. He can almost retire on that!

Due to the commitment I reckon it's easier to do well, but you definitely need that commitment. Most people don't.

Norwich mids won't all be 5.0 or more. More likely that Redmond or Johnny Howson is the 4.5 guy than the much better known Wes Hoolahan or 15 goal scorer Bradley Johnson

So was Burnley's before last season. Could be a good defensive team if they do well at the start of the season and no longer have the onus to attack later in the season.

That is, of course, if they even win today 🙂

Really? Wigan are my second team so I watch the Championship quite alot. Thought you guys got absolutely battered during the finals. Had the QPR defender not made a crazy last man tackle and gotten sent off, the Derby striker would have gone on to score and there would have been no way back for your team 😉

Since I only found this place around December last year, I decided to see what the pre-season articles are like, so just had a look what was on offer before this season started.

I am amazed at the depth and level of the information. Also very bombarded and that's before you even get into reading the user's comments as RMTs will of course be in over drive in pre-season.

Might have revise my usual routine of putting together my team just days before the deadline...still do about 200 changes to it though!
