After yesterday’s disappointing start, many Fantasy managers will be looking for some of Sunday’s heavy hitters to come to the rescue.

A couple of 1.30pm kick-offs get us underway. Community Shield winners Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates before Steven McClaren takes charge of Newcastle for the first time in the top-flight as in-form Southampton roll up to St James’ Park.

Stoke play host to big-spending Liverpool in the late kick-off, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to immediately avenge their 6-1 mauling at the Britannia in the final league fixture of 2014/15.

    I was nervous before the game but seen more than enough to suggest we will be in for a good season. Played well and didn't deserve to lose but such is life. Great goal can't really do anything about that.

    If I was a Liverpool fan with ambitions of the Champions League I'd be concerned on that display. Papers over the cracks.

    Holy s***.....Bellerin not playing has bought on my first sub....Gomez....on for 3 Baps an assist and clean sheet, I am one lucky sod having benched him for Huth just before the deadline!

    I apologise if it seems like gloating, but I will be the first to admit it was pure luck, not judgement!!:O

      They should make a rule that you only get half points of players arriving from your bench. Would reduce the luck element
